The Little Girl with the Broken Heart!

Once upon a time in a far off land that if you lived there, you wouldn't think was so far off because you'd already be there, but if you lived somewhere else, it could've been far off unless you lived very near to it in which case it would be a land that was near by. Regardless of the distance between you and the location of this story, in this land there lived a little girl though if you happened to be the size of an insect or atom or virus you would think that she was quite large - enormous even - though compared to the size of the storyteller she was little. The little girl lived in an adequate home with her family who relatively speaking were her relatives in a biological sense of the word.

Everyday the little girl arose to the sound of her father whose job it was to awaken the household much like a rooster though this is not in fact the story of a family of chickens, but rather the story of a family of humans, a humane story were no chickens - or any other animal for that matter - are placed in harms way. Whereupon she would eat food made from whole grains much like a chicken though she was in fact human with her younger siblings who also ate whole grain foods and who were not in anyway chickenesque in appearance.

Upon the completion for the eatfest, all the children would prepare themselves for the day ahead and relief themselves of waste materials that their bodies had stored from the previous days eating of whole grain foods and other foods made from ingredients that most chickens will never encounter even if they lived to be old chickens.

At the point when this morning preparation was complete or at a time near completion of the preparation for whole grain foods do not provide a quick burst energy to motivate the children enough to sometimes complete all the mornings preparations, the children went outside to make the long walk to the spot specified by their area's school so their coach knew they were to be picked up and delivered to their school that was also specified area's school though they could go to other area schools, but these other schools were not specified as being their school. At the school the girl left her siblings to go about their business whilst she went about her business of learning all that was specified for her to learn in the areas of the school that were specified for her to learn these things.

At the end of each and every day, the girl and one of her siblings left the school at the designated time upon the designated coach and road to the designated point at which they departed the coach where the journeyed by foot the remaining distance to their home. The other sibling who could not handle the stress of an entire day with those who are required to instruct the children in all that is important in life, left school at and earlier designated time and was to spend the remaining part of the school day with his evil grandma-ma who saw to it that he did his chores like picking sticks up from the yard and gathering of walnuts which were stressful activities for him though he continued to do them until he became tired.

One day the girl went to the witch doctor that was not only the doctor for witches but was also the doctor for young humans even though his title did not reflect this, but he witches as well which was reflected in his official title that was hung upon the plaque that hung outside his hut. She was not feeling poorly, she was required to go to the witch doctor so that she would not have caught any strange spells that were known to hang out around the school that she was required to attend though she was not required to take any of the strange spells home with her though some of her classmates did.

The witch doctor found most her signs to be good which was a good thing, but he found that she had an evil spell cast upon her that was very hard for him to notice and was almost impossible for her or her family to detect. She had been given a broken heart.

For the young girl and her family the news set off a wave of emotion that if left unchecked would have consumed the entire family and all those they come in contact with. The witch doctor said that he had a plan to remove the spell from the girl and the family would once again be at peace and all those they come in contact with would not have to fear being consumed by the wave of emotion, but the plan required that the girl be sent off to the castle of the great wizard far far away.

Much time passed between the witch doctor visit and the journey to the castle of the great wizard, and although to those the family came in contact with, everything seemed normal, to those in the family there was always the underlying fear of the unknown that would take place in a land far far away.

Then the day of the journey came and every member of the family set out for the castle of the great wizard that was so far far away. Setting out upon the journey, every one of their friends and family wish them the best of luck on their journey and all this well-wishing placed a spell of protection upon the little girl and her family, and they all felt better about the journey.

At the castle of the great wizard, children from all parts of the realm who had evil spells cast upon them that their witch doctors could not remove gather together to receive the help of the great wizard. The little girl was no exception. She arrived at the castle and waited for a visit from the great wizard.

The little girl and her parents waited patiently for the great wizard to make his appearance. The waited and waited for there were many children who had evil spells cast upon them and each one had to be given the attention they deserved. It seemed to those waiting that they had waited for an eternity, but still they waited. When it had seemed as if they had waited an eternity plus a day, there was a flourish of trumpets and a cloud of grayish smoke began to grow in the entry way of the room. Then a flash of lightening and poof, the great wizard appeared. He began to speak in an accent that though sounding somewhat familiar was quite alien to the family, and they all assumed that his must be the way that all wizards spoke. As he started to speak, it seemed as if his mouth was not moving for his great beard that covered his mouth did not move in the least and yet the family heard every word as clear as a bell. He looked upon the little girl and said that he would do his very best to remove the evil spell that had been cast upon her though it would require some time to accomplish this task and she must stay for some time within the walls of the castle for her protection from the evil source of the broken heart.

The family agreed that this was for the best because the evil would not remove itself no matter how hard they wished it to leave, and they had been wishing for quite some time for the evil to be gone. They all knew that it had to be removed by the great wizard, but there was the fear of the unknown that enveloped them when the decision had been made. The little girl was worried about what the great wizard would do to remove the evil, and the parents were worried because that is what parents do when one of their children has to visit the great wizard. When the great wizard saw the looks that came over the family, he reassured them that he had removed similar spells from other children and that everything would be all right. This set the family a bit more at ease about what the future held in store for the little girl.

And then the day came when the great wizard would perform his wondrous magic upon the little girl. All who had any concerns about the magic of the great wizard were concern and all worried greatly about the little girl with the broken heart. All except for the great wizard who was confident in his magic and the power of his aforementioned magic. The little girl was carried off by the great wizard and his minions to the room where the evil magic removal ceremony would take place. There was great secrecy about the great wizard's magic and no one was permitted to witness the ceremony but the great wizard and his many minions.

When the great wizard had completed his magic and the evil magic had been removed, the great wizard's minions brought the little girl out of the chamber and spirited her off to a room where she could get some rest for unbeknownst to her parents, the little girl had to fight against the evil magic with the aid of the great wizard, and she had fought for some time for she was a strong willed little girl and she would not let the evil magic win. And rest the little girl did.

After three days, the great wizard came out to the parents of the little girl for they had remained nearby to give their strength to the little girl in her fight with the evil magic and said that though she may be sore for some time to come, she was free of the evil magic and free to go home to be with her siblings who had not seen her for the four days she was gone.

And the parents and the little girl journeyed back to their humble little abode where the other children were. Upon their arrival, there was much celebrating and giving of hugs and kisses though the little girl greatly appreciated all the attention, she just felt like resting for awhile and she did so with a smile for she knew that she had at last conquered the evil magic that had broken her heart. And the little girl and her family lived happily ever after and the evil magic had been banished from the kingdom forever.

THE END!
