The Latest from SWAT

1/16/2000 Ahoy-hoy friends. Happy New Year from the boys. SWAT has just returned from the studio once again, laying down the three tracks as promised, and adding a fourth as a nice suprise. This is THE BEST sounding recording, songs, everything that SWAT has put out. We still aren't sure what it will be pressed in so drop us a line, and let us know what you want. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO DOUG FROM ASSHOLE STUDIOS. YOUR PATIENCE AND GENEROSITY WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN. The Boys, ~SWAT 11/99 Thanksgiving...SWAT will be laying down 3 new tracks in January for a new E.P. "423", "Down", and "It Changes Nothing". What formats it will be available on is still a mystery. Cassetes are definate, a 7" is a possibilty. When we know, you'll know. ~See ya at the next show. 11/99 Okay so here's what's going on with the boys.... Jared is already up in Boston attending Berklee School of Music, Dave, and Craig went up there over Halloween weekend to check out the scene, and visit. It was a blast! Boston is a great town, We practiced and some people even showed up to see us play, we bummed around, and generally just absorbed the atmosphere. While there Craig took the oppertunity to visit a local art school there which he will be attending in the fall. Even though we're not together we've all been colaberating on new designs for some new merchandise, and not only will we be playing as many shows as we can while we're all together back in this area, but we're also going back into the studio to lay down some new tracks, and one or two old favorites for promo to labels, radio shows, and where ever else we can send them. We're not sure yet if we're making this available at shows, but we might. With still 1,000,000 questions infront of us about the move we're going to do as much as we can as we try to figure everything out, so keep checking back or you can email us at the previously listed addys. Thanks, ~SWAT

Added 7/2:Hey, SWAT has again returned to its original line-up for now. We're once again without a bass player (hopefully temporary). The position is open to anyone willing to play who has their own equipment and wants to play. Your heart has to be in the music. That's what counts. Until then, we will continue playing shows and recording, we did it before we'll do it again...Nothing is changing. We'll still play anywhere, and play just as hard if not harder. SEE YA AT THE NEXT SHOW, ~SWAT Lancaster punkcore Added 6/30: Hey there kids. Not much has been happening on the home front. You can now pick up SWAT shit at ANGRY, YOUNG, And POOR (Prince St. Lancaster) and C.I. Records (Manor St. Lancaster). Thanks to those guys helping us. And as the world turns and more shows are being booked, our musical foundation is being strengthed as well as our ability to write songs together. There is a slew of new ones in the making. So keep your ears open. More pics will be up soon, as well as some lyrics to the new songs.

SEE YA AT THE NEXT SHOW, ~SWAT lancaster punkcore

Old News: SWAT is currently seeking any and all shows, with the release of the CD they are accepting pretty much to play anywhere (clubs, halls, parties) for gas money maybe less depending on where you are. SWAT is also looking for more bands to play with, trade shows and get tight with. Eventually a list of links will be posted on this page of all the bands SWAT has contact with. Its about unity, friends and fun. The scene won't progress without each other. SWAT is welcoming reviews of shows and the CD in our guestbook. So please sign and let us know what you think. All of SWAT's old show dates have been lost to the computer monsters if you have flyers from any of these shows please get in touch with Craig, David, or the webmaster.
