"TESTIMONIALS""

Hi Tom,
finally good news! I received the missing clubs last Wednesday! Right on time, as I had two championships during the weekend. Unfortunately we suffered from very bad weather, heavy rain and storm... At least, I could almost score up to my handicap, fair enough!

Concerning the clubs, I am already sure about having made the right decision with them and especially about the right club maker choice. They are definitely great, cool looking and provide a lot of feel on impact. I especially like to play the 3 wedges, there is absolutely no difference in short game feel and success with these. With my old set, I always hated to play the PW...

Thanks again a lot for your great job! When I managed to lower my handicap due to the clubs I will let you know.

Your very satisfied customer,

Hubert....Germany

Tom,
..."This was the most amazing personal service."
I am living, working and playing golf in Singapore, far from such personal golfing services ; I am 56 with chronic back problems ; I am a left-hander ; I play 2 fisted ; I use sci-golf Impact grips ; I am a contrary character. Tom dealt with me like a counselor - endless patience, no hype or sales pitches, lots of solid advice and an intuitive understanding of my problems as well as strengths. He e-mailed me daily to follow up on queries or to make suggestions. He even offered to make just one club for me to see. The whole process was seamless and exciting. He analyzed my swing, took measurements, suggested personal touches (e.g 1" extra on driver), type of shaft ... everything. He imported from outside his site my Impact grips and fitted them. He adjusted the swing weight accordingly (whatever that means). I have a phenomenal set of golf clubs at a very reasonable price and from fighting to maintain a 5 handicap because of occasional stray monster shots, I am now a rock-steady 4 and heading down. Not only that, I ordered from Singapore, collected from England and paid on line. All done in 2 weeks, all organized by Tom. Not a hitch, no hassle for me.

I knew from the first exchange that Tom Weigle was the man to do the job. I recommend anyone to contact him and talk. Be it clubs, swing advice, golfing lore, whatever, you will find a non-hassle site run by an understanding professional craftsman who is more solely interested in YOUR satisfaction. In these days of mass golf gimmicks, this was quite a shock. And when it comes to tweaking clubs, well just check out the precision with which each club is crafted. Get on the site, talk golf - and, if it's new clubs you need ... BUY HERE. You will not regret it.

Tom has my e-mail address and I am more than happy for anyone to contact me direct for any further confirmation of any of these statements!!

PS I also got a broom-handle putter from him. Why isn't everyone using them? Is it fear of looking like a golfing has-been a la Woosnam or Langer?? Believe you me, it will halve your putting score in a week. Guaranteed."

Hello tom,
As you see, my name is Maxwell Sharpe.....I'm here in Newfoundland,Canada.....out in the atlantic..just off Nova Scotia.
Just want to say thanks for your golf tips..I have read many tips on the Net,but nothing I have run across can touch your way of presenting the facts......you tell it like it is. Someone said "Golf is an easy game...its just hard to play"....your insight has made a lot of things and ideas very clear to me and thanks for that. I print all of the tips you send me and am grateful for them.
Keep up the good work..you are a credit to the golfing people who need your info.
Once again ......many thanks and keep em coming.

Tom,
I recently signed up to your regular email golf tips. The first one that you sent struck a chord. I have been having a lot of problems with my wedge shots and my chipping. I knew that I was scooping the ball and this was the result of trying to hit the ball by uncocking my wrists through the ball. The habit was so ingrained that even though I knew what I was doing I didn't seem able to stop; especially under pressure. It was spoiling my enjoyment as I was throwing lots of shots away. I have become very adapt at the Texas Wedge as my chipping is so poor. I play off 14 and if it wasn't for my poor short game I guess that I would be 8 to 10.

So when I read your first tip I quickly noticed your advice on scooping. You mentioned that scooping also leads to poor chipping. Your solution is to practice off a downslope. Well I haven't tried this but for some reason I took a mental note to keep my leading wrist firm through the shot. So I tried this on Friday and was delighted at my wedge shots. Although they fly much lower they are struck well and I hit 6 good wedge shots, 4 of which were superb. So I concentrate on keeping my hands well ahead of the ball right through impact. It felt strange at first as if I was playing a punch shot but the results were great. No more fat shots and no more pushes out to the right (I've no idea why I was doing this). P.S. can I put a link to your page on our golf society website?

..........Thanks again,...Michael Doherty

Tom,
Realizing I'm not from an exotic location like many of the testimonials on here, (just right here in Western Pa.), but if anybody sees my handicap laying around on the course. Leave it lay! My game has improved so dramatically since I got my PC3 irons, and few tips from Tom, that my playing partners can't believe it! Frankly neither can I. I played factory clubs for a couple years, and thought that was the way to go. My handicap hovered around 10 or so for years, and I was satisfied to do that. With a matched and perfectly fitted set of custom irons from Tom in less than one month, my handicap is single digits, and I mean the kind you can count on one hand. Thanks Tom!

Tom,
I just wanted to thank you for the tips. During the past year I have used various instructors, but I can honestly say that I have learned more and improved my play more from your help...

I do not mind at all if you put my comments on your testimonial page. I now copy all of your tips and take them with me to the practice range. I have finally learned, thanks to your help, that this is a game of accuracy. Like most new golfers, my practice was not focused on anything but distance. Thanks to your guidance, I now practice with a purpose and walk away from practice sessions knowing that I am improving all of my game. Thanks again!

Tom,
Several months ago you built a hyper steel 7 wood with a proforce 65 shaft. I really must compliment you on that club. It took a little getting used to the stiffer shaft but the club has really performed. I took my 4 iron out of the bag and have learned to hit the hyper steel between 170 and 185 yards. It has totally changed my approach toward long par 4s and intermediate par 3s. It probably saves me 3 strokes a round and has dropped me down to around a 10 or 11 handicap.

The workability of the club is great. I can draw it a little and can fade it controllably. But what it really does best is to go straight! I am starting to have several people asking me what I am hitting. Most of the people that try it can't hit it at first, but then again it took me a couple of times at the range.

The fit and workmanship was first rate. Once again, nice job and thanks.

Hi Tom,
I'm enjoying the clubs you made for me. Took them to driving range first and only a few bad shots. Next played a round with some friends and only one bad shot. Yesterday, played a four man best ball tournament and we used my drives most of the time. As you might guess I'm pleased with the clubs. Its a lot more fun playing in the fairway and with the tips you gave, I should be there all time.
Thanks again Golf is fun again.

Hi Tom,
The Clubs arrived Thursday 19th. Unfortunately no one was home to receive them. So the Postman left a card advising of their arrival, for me to pick up the package at the Post Office. So today I hot footed down there as soon as they opened. The Clubs arrived in perfect order. Even though its raining, I have been down to the Golf Club and tried the 10degree on the practice tee and it feels great. So sending it by Post was a sensible way to go. Considering it only took 12 days to get here.

Tomorrow I will be playing in a 4 Ball event, which should give it a good workout. From the results I got on the practice tee, I feel pretty confident I will get that extra distance that I have been looking for.

Thanks for your interest and concern Tom. It has been much appreciated.

Dear Tom,
Your site is about the best golf site I have ever seen. The information is wonderful and your insights appear to be right on point. Really, your web site is so comprehensive compared to everything I have seen so far. I simply cannot believe the depth of your discussions and the amount of data. Give me a little time to absorb it. MY first thought is to think about custom built woods; rather, than buying off the shelf. I checked the Ping i3's out today and the Taylor Made 300 series. I was not impressed. I simply believe that I cannot find a standard club that fits me. Does exact fitting matter that much? I will be in touch soon.

Tom,
A further update. The postman tried again today to deliver the club and my wife was in. It was immediately delivered to my friend who went straight out on the golf course. He is delighted with the club, and says he will probably want to buy another soon.

For your information we had to pay $45 duty (or whatever 30 pounds is at todays rate)

It has been a pleasure dealing with you - I'm sure that we will be ordering another club soon.

Hi Tom,
Just a note of thanks for the time & trouble!
I really look forward to these tips & just want you to know that I appreciate them.

Hopefully my game will improve enough that we can do some biz here in the next few months..........LOL, Course it's been rather hard to play here in Denver the last couple months!!! You can hit about a 250 yrd 9 iron but your fingers shatter & it's so hard to find ones ball amongst all the white!!

Anywho, really,......... Thank you,

...........Bob .........Denver Colorado

Hey Tom,
I want to thank you again. You helped me so much. You were a big help with finding the right club head-shaft combo. Thank you a ton. No other company or custom golf shop on line would have ever done that. You are the best.

If I like the performance of these clubs, I will probably look into buying more clubs, but not for a while. I will let you know when I receive them.

THANKS AGAIN!!!!......Tyler ..Wisconson

Hi Tom,
Thanks for such a quick response & such an honest answer.......To be frank, it was what I expected but it is always reassuring when it happens..........You have gained a customer & I'm no longer looking for any other club builders.

You may laugh but from all I have read I just about had come to the same conclusion......."It's just to early to know anything so go buy some cheapies & hit some balls"..........So I'll do that!.......Thanks for the confirmation & extra advice.

I'll be talking to you in the near future & am sure will have some solid info you can work with at that time. Also just to let you know, because of the almost overwhelming amount of info on your site, I believe I can find a set of clubs that will work fairly well for me......Thanks again!

hank you very much,.....Bob...Westminster, Colorado

Hi Tom,
Just wanted to let you know that my friend and I love the Integra 330cc drivers we bought from you a few weeks ago. They are very well made and we could not be happier with them. We are both hitting the ball better than we have in a long time. Thank you so much, will highly recommend you to all of my friends and anyone else I can. Enjoyed doing business with you and hope to again in the future.

Hi Tom,
Found your site through Yahoo. I'm not a great golfer but always looking to improve. I Have ALWAYS had trouble with the PW from 50 yards in to the hole, over traps etc. Found your site Wednesday pm read about weight on left leg and hands a little in front of ball and rested the club more on its heel. Played yesterday and did not once dub a wedge shot around the green.
THANKS for your instruction. Your Web site is Fantastic!

Tom,
I just learned to play golf last fall and I'm aggressively trying to improve my game this year (been practicing throughout the winter when able).

I've taken lessons (3), read "Golf for Idiots" and "Golf for Dummies", but your golf tips are the best source of golf information I've come across.Just fantastic. Thanks for including me on your mailing list.

Hi Tom: I received the clubs in perfect order.I put them True Temper TTL shafts I'm really enjoying them, they are "my perfect choice"I'd compared with Ping's real clubs and the feeling, in my case is better from the Kings Tour compared to real one's.Thanks very much....

I'm really very happy with them. The 3+ O'Donnell its not so easy to use but, I'm improving and I'm not using more the driver, when I hit it well I get 10/15 yds more than my old driver. The putter is excellent I used before ping's and Zebra from Ram Golf, but the feeling of this putter is really good.

In general I'm doing 4 or 5 shots less per round, I think that the next month I'm going to have a 12 Hcp.I'm at 13 now, (5 months ago was in 16)

Hey Tom,
I am very satisfied with the set of clubs you built for me. If you would like a quote from me for your testimonial page it would be this. Tom Weigle promised me a quality set of golf clubs and that's just what I got. The quality is that of much more expensive pro-line equipment

Tom,
Sorry I didn't reply to your first message...it's been crazy around here. I am very happy with the clubs. Your service was top notch, and I really appreciate your involvement from measuring to manufacturing to shipping and following up. I am still learning to tame that slice with the woods, but my iron shots have improved 200% already. I checked your golf tips page, and that's been helpful as well. Thanks again

Tom,
How have you been? I didn't have a chance to stop out and see you at the end of last season to tell you what a difference your clubs made in my game, its fun to go out on the course again!! I was talking to Jeff Gregorythe other day and he mentioned your golf tips each week, so I thought I would drop you a line and see about getting on your e-mail list. I'll stop out before the season starts, I have a brother in law that could sure use your help, I'll bring him with me.

Hi Tom,
Just wanted to say I finally got to get out and use the new clubs, (after hitting about 350 balls at the range during the past week because of the hurricane) just about 90 percent of the balls were straight on target and the clubs feel fantastic. what a difference the proper clubs make. now don't get me wrong I still am trying to adjust after using them store brought clubs so long. when I got out to play I really goofed all day, but that's what keeps me going back is the challenge of having to improve over and over. just wanted to say again what a fine job you did and thanks a lot . Thank you,

Hi Folks,
Stumbled onto your website as a result of a search engine. I'm impressed with the thoroughness of your site. Yes, I know one can only fit custom made clubs with the detail that you're asking for, but it's amazing to me that you're one of the few sites that takes the time to explain what the different terms, and their significance in the manufacture of clubs really means.

Unfortunately I'm not in the market for new clubs, yet at least. But you're definitely book marked.

All the best,

Tom,
Just a short note to thank you for your Golf Tips. When I get them I pass them on to many of my golfing mates here in Adelaide, South Australia.

I think your format is great - just one point each week mainly to get you thinking about this perplexing game. Many of your tips I now use and they are of benefit. You obviously love the game and have acquired vast knowledge. You are becoming quite a celebrity down here. Amazing this INTERNET stuff. I'm an architect and now E-mail stuff all over the place. Have recently damaged my knee (playing golf of course) and have to have a second arthroscopy soon, however I will come back even better.

Thank you and kind regards
(or in 'Australian' - "g'day mate"
