Charles H. Keller joined the PA volunteers at the age of 15, on Sept 18,1861.
He was a dispatch carrier and was under the direction of his brother, Captain David C. Keller.
After he was mustered out, on Dec. 31,1863 at Brandy Station Virginia, he re-enlisted on Jan 1,1864.
He married Margaretta Heinel on Sept. 10,1872. He had 6 children.
Charles died on April 30,1900.
