2004 Year-in-Review

The Parker City VFD had a busy year in 2004 with a total of 196 calls. The Quick Response Squad received 115 calls. These calls were anywhere from assists to other companies, to pale fires, of course, we will never forget trucks plunging into stores!

We respond to a wide variety of calls - all for the safety of our area. We are also trying to raise money to help support the fire dept. We are now selling our Fire Prevention-Lottery Calendar. In the spring, we will be asking for your support again through Municipal Marketing, and don’t forget the Mother’s Day Dinner. Finally, there is Sportsman’s Night in November.

The Auxiliary also had a busy year. Without the auxiliary we would be last. Ladies, we thank you.

For anyone who would like to join the Fire Dept. or the Auxiliary, please contact the fire hall at 724-399-2222, or speak to any firefighter or auxiliary member.

To everyone who helped support us in any way, All of us at the Parker City VFD/QRS say “Thank You.”
