I am the terror that lurks through the night
I am the reason why lil kids have a fright
When you look at me now who do you see
Someone you think you know, naw can't be
You could turn around and outta nowhere I appear
You start to blink because your heart pumps fear
Then you think "good or evil, friend or foe?"
Better trust your instincts because you'll never know
So if you're walking at night best to watch your back
Because it might be you if you were to get jacked

What does it mean? A color not likely
A man's soul? An essence not highly
It's an uncanny question to the mind
An answer you have to look deep down to find
