Biography
All anyone knows of Aglir was that he was born in a mountain village in the harsh province of Shem-Karre. He was disinherited by his uncles and cast out of his home for murdering his father. Since then, magic has been his life, and he believes that it is the only force in the universe that holds the power of truth.
Aglir, accompanied by Shadow Rose and Cadmann Pendragon, returned to Shem-Karre and successfully rescued his sisters. Since then, his mood and outlook have greatly improved. He was also promoted to the rank of Officer in the SoM.
Aglir was cursed and given amnesia by Evil Shadow, briefly becoming his servant. During this time, Aglir was given a special ability - the right side of his body could use ice spells, and the left side use fire spells. However, he was rescued by Shadow Rose and gave up his fire magic to help her defeat Evil Shadow. He is now Second-in-Command of the Society of Mages while Shadow Rose is under ES's control.
Being so deeply connected to the ice element, Aglir possesses a natural "chill touch," due to his constant state of connectivity with the well of ice power. Upon coming in bodily contact with others, a part of the other person's body will freeze. This proves to be both an invaluable skill and a curse. The chill touch is hightened by strong negative emotions such as anger or sadness and is lessened by positive ones.
Spells
Lvl 1: Glacies Murus (Ice wall) - offensive and defensive; creates wall of ice that can be used to block attacks or trap an opponent.
Lvl 1: Glacies Mucris (Ice edges) - offensive; shoots missiles of ice at an opponent.
Lvl 1: Glacies Medicor (Ice heal) - healing spell; wounds fill with ice and then change back into skin.
Lvl 2: Glacies Sopor (Ice sleep) - offensive; puts an opponent into a deep sleep that wears off after several hours or upon Aglir's command. The awakening words are Excio Tuum.
Lvl 2: Glacies Incendia (Ice fire) - offensive; shoots a ball of frigid blue ice fire at an opponent.
Lvl 2: Glacies Maledictio (Ice curse) - offensive; causes an opponent to become confused and attack his allies.
Lvl 3: Glacies Procella (Ice tempest) - offensive; engulfs opponent in a fierce ice storm.
Lvl 3: Glacies Diabolus (Ice demon) - offensive and defensive; summons a gigantic ball of living ice in the shape of a demon, which freezes the entire room and inflicts heavy damage on opponents. Greatly weakens the caster. The demon can also be called upon to defend, but may only be present for a short number of turns.
Lvl 3: Glacies Macero (Ice weaken) - offensive and defensive; removes an opponent's protective spells. Can also remove protective spells that are cast on himself or another to produce a harmful affect such as the prevention of healing (as long as that spell only affects one person and not the whole room.)
-Upon death, Aglir's blood flows from him like water and he melts. After 24 hours, he will begin to refreeze and is ressurected.
