Hello class of 2004!

Welcome to Mrs. Mento's classroom. I teach English and enrichment (gifted) at Boyertown Junior High East in Pennsylvania. I've created this Web site for my students and their parents, but anyone is welcomed here. I hope to provide you with information about my classes and what we are doing. I have pages on reading jotters, writer's notebook, grades, and other information.

Basic Information

Spelling - Yes, we have spelling quizzes.
Grades - I post grades in the classroom but not on the internet.
Reading Requirement - There are some changes from last year, but you still need to read ten books.

Enrichment/Gifted

This year I am teaching enrichment seminars in letter writing, public speaking, SAT prep, and creative writing.

Our Enrichment Department consists of six teachers:

one social studies teacher
one science teacher
one reading teacher
one English teacher
one computer teacher
