I am currently in the process of writing an extensive essay on the succession question based on new and historical documents from both Russian and English sources. The amount of material on the subject is voluminous to say the least. The title of my essay will be The Imperial Succession and the Future of Monarchy in Russia. It is my fervent hope that my essay will put to rest the controversy and misinformation surrounding the succession to the Russian throne once and for all.
