After the end of the summer season, and with the onset of the autumn months, the second phase of restoration work in the Livadia Palace Museum is underway. Last year, the state budget allocated 30 million USD for the restoration of the summer residence of the last Russian emperor. Of these, about 18 million USD, was spent on the interior of the palace, including the restoration of furniture and interior elements. The remaining amount aims to restore the historical appearance of the palace's facade and most importantly - to return it to it's snow-white splendor. The restoration work will breathe new life into the palace and once completed will welcome visitors to view its newly restored interiors and grounds.
