The Head of the Russian Imperial House, Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna, has offered her condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport.

Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna, said in a statement issued from her home in Madrid that the monstrous terrorist act Domodedovo airport "threw her into deep sorrow." The grand duchess promised that she would pray to the Lord that he would give peace to the souls of the innocent victims and alleviate the suffering of wounded.

"I am sure that none of the heinous murderers of these innocent civilians will go unpunished, or without facing severe retribution. Response to their attempts to instill fear should be our unity and solidarity in the fight against the godless and brutal terrorism against everyone ", - underlined in the message by the grand duchess. Maria Vladimirovna, has also expressed her deepest condolences to the bereaved families and relatives of the victims.

The attack occurred on 24th of January at 16:32 Moscow time at Domodedovo, Moscow’s busiest airport. According to the latest official figures released by the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Russia, the death toll from the explosion has reached 35 people, and a further 170 people injured, 43 of which are in serious condition. President Dmitry Medvedev has issued a decree issuing enhanced security at all Moscow railway stations and airports.
