King Michael of Romania celebrated his 80th birthday in 2001. This pictorial history of his life is a gift to the King from his family. This wonderful collection includes rare photos of King Carol I, Queen Elizabeth (Carmen Sylva), King Ferdinand, Queen Marie, King Carol II, Queen Helen and King Michael, Queen Anne and their children.
Text in both English and French include dedications by King Juan Carlos of Spain and The Prince of Wales, a Foreword by Princess Margarita of Romania and biographies of all the kings and queens of Romania by Prince Radu. Many rare photos show Michael as a child, with his mother, Queen Helen, his father, King Carol II and his grandmother, Queen Marie.
