BOOK DESCRIPTION
This book is a photo album containing rare and beautiful photos from private and official collections of the Tuscany branch of the Habsburg dynasty. Grand Duke Leopold II (1797-1870), Tuscany’s last proper Habsburg ruler and the ancestor of all the people in this book. Grand Duke Leopold was married twice, first in 1817 to Princess Maria Anna of Saxony, who bore him three daughters and who died in 1832.
The following year he married Princess Maria Antonia of Bourbon-Sicily, by whom he had 10 children and innumerable grand children and great-grandchildren. This is their story in pictures. Indeed, here you will find interesting details and photos of such people as Luise of Tuscany, Crown Princess of Saxony as well as many other interesting archdukes and archduchesses of the Habsburgs.
