A unique exhibition of clothes worn by children of Russia's aristocracy and nobility during the Tsarist period opened on January 22nd at the State Historical Museum in Moscow.
The exhibit features costume dating from the 18th to early 20th century: shoes, coats, dresses, bonnets, and bows from the museum's collection.
Of particular interest is a display of clothes worn by the August children of the Russian tsars including, baby clothes, embroidered attire, little kaftans and tiny corsets.
