The Konstantin Palace at Strelna
The hoard found in the former Naryshkin Mansion in St. Petersburg last month has been moved to the Konstantin Palace at Strelna.
Vladislav Kirilov, who heads the division to combat the theft of Cultural Property Research Affairs in St. Petersburg, has confirmed that the treasures were moved to the Konstantin Palace on Friday.
The treasure consisting of some 2,000 items packed into 40 boxes and bags were discovered while restoration work was being carried out on the mansion located on Tchaikovsky Street in St. Petersburg in March.
Kirilov explained that the collection will be put on temporary display at the Konstantin Palace later this year.
