Last Time on Soul Guide Part 3. Willow's soul was restored and she begged Giles not to tell Buffy she was a vampire now. She told Giles to tell Buffy she was dead. Willow wanted to leave Sunnydale but Giles was worried about her traveling alone. So new and improved vampire with a soul, Spike, said he'd go with her and vowed to protect her. So Willow and Spike left for Egypt. Willow has now been missing and Buffy believes that maybe Angel or his crew has got her. She is determined to find Willow but Giles tells Buffy Willow is dead.

"D....D...Dead?" Her voiced cracked a little. Giles hated lying to Buffy. Especially about this. "No, she can't be dead."
"Buffy, I know it's hard for you. But Willow is dead." Giles said in a soothing voice trying to keep Buffy calm.
"How do you know? What happened to her? She's not dead!"
"Buffy try to understand. Willow is dead."
"NO SHE'S NOT DEAD! Giles, She's not dead!" Buffy said falling to her knees and crying. Giles went and put his arms around her to comfort her. "Shhh.....It's ok. It's ok." He said.
"Giles....She was my best friend." Buffy said trying not to cry anymore. But finally she couldn't hold it in and just cried and cried.

"I'll KILL HIM!!!" Angelus yelled at the top of his lungs. Drusilla stood there saying nothing. She was afraid she might upset him more. "Dru." Drusilla looked at Angelus still frightened. "Where did they go?" He asked her. "WHERE?!?!"
"I...I....I...I...I don't knooowww." She said in half whimper. Angelus grabbed Drusilla and threw her against the wall.
"What good are you then?!! You are supposed to be able to see things!" He growled louder and louder. Then he started trashing the place. Drusilla just lay on the ground shaking.

"WILLOW IS NOT DEAD!!!!!" Xander yelled at the top of his lungs. (My best friend is not dead. She can't be. She isn't supposed to die.) Cordelia hugged him some more but he jerked away.
"Giles........" Buffy hesitated. "How...How..How did she die?" Giles was so close to telling them the truth. But he remembered what Willow said. (PROMISE ME you won't tell! .....Giles, I can't! I'd cry everyday. I'd be worried she'd kill me or something. I can't go to school or hang out with my friends. PROMISE ME! PROMISE ME!)
"Vampires. She was bit. Crossed over." He said.
"So, then she is a vampire?" Buffy said in disbelief.
"She was. I .....I staked her. She tried to kill me and I staked her." Giles said hating himself for lying to his slayer. Buffy quickly ran to him. She wrapped her arms around him.
"Giles, it's ok. I know it must be hard." She said.
"You staked her?! How could you! We ....we ..we could of restored her soul or something. But now we've lost all chance now that you staked her! How could y...."
"XANDER! She tried to kill him!" Buffy yelled.
"No... NO!!! NO BUFFY! Willow wouldn't do that! She wouldn't!" He yelled again.
"XANDER! She wasn't Willow anymore."

3 months later.
"Willow? Willow? Are you awake?" A british accent asked her. Willow opened her eyes half way.
"Spike?" She whispered. She sat up slowly. Spike held a glass full of blood up to her mouth. She rejected it.
"Willow, you're weak. You must drink it." He said.
"I'm not hungry." She proclaimed.
"I know. But you've been sick. You must drink it." He protested. "Why are you doing this? Why do you act like my dad or something?" She asked. Spike walked to the drawer and got a package.
"I'm used to acting that way. I used to have to take care of Dru after she was attacked in Prague. Now your weak cause you refuse to drink as much blood as your supposed to. I swear it if you don't start drinking it. I will force you too." He said. He brought the package to her. "I had one of the help pick these up for you."
Willow took the package and opened it. It was some clothes and a disk to install AOL on their computer.
"Oh goody! Now we can email Giles!" She said with a big smile on her face.
Spike couldn't help but smile at her.

Giles sat at his desk searching the web for some new prophecies when suddenly a voice came out of the computer. 'You've Got Mail.' Giles clicked on the email box.

Dear Giles,
How's it going G-man? Were just over here in our new home. It's nice. We went to Egypt for a little bit. But the weather was a little too much. So we went sight seeing a little. You know pyramids and stuff. Then we moved. So now we are in Florida. Have a pretty nice house on the beach. It's an isolated beach so no one bothers us. The weather here is alot better than Egypt. But I gotta say Egypt was REALLY cool! Maybe you should take a trip there sometime. I'll tell you one thing there are alot of prophecies hidden in the pyramids and stuff. Anyway, Spike got me the AOL hook up. So now we can write eachother. Oh yeah, Spike says hi. Actually he says "E'llo Mate." lol. But, we're doing OK. I'm almost afraid to ask but I will anyway. How did everything go with Buffy and them? Giles, I miss ya'll alot. Really I do. If you EVER need anything, EVER. Don't hesitate to email me. I will have a phone number for you soon. Oh yeah, something is coming up in Sunnydale soon. I don't know what exactly. But I'm researching it a little. I doubt it's anything. Anyway, I'll keep in touch.

Willow! It's so good to hear from you! I've been so worried. To be honest I wasn't able to sleep since you left until you sent me your email telling me everything was OK. I'm glad to hear Spike is taking care of you. I will look into the pyramid prophecies. Buffy took it OK. She was upset at first, but, she was OK. I cannot lie Willow. I can't tell you that Xander took it ok. Because he didn't. He still hasn't been able to deal with it. He goes to your grave everynight. He has this journal that he writes in. He constantly writes letters to you wanting to send them to you but not knowing where. It's hard not telling them that you are alive and well somewhere and not lying in a grave. Even Cordelia is upset. She cried a few times. The person I fear for their health though is Oz. Ever since it happened he hasn't been playing his guitar or even talking to anyone. He eats alone. I think eating with Buffy, Xander, and Cordelia reminds him too much of you. He misses you so. I can see it in his eyes. I don't know what to tell him. Sometimes I just feel like saying "Oz, She is alive and well!" But I know I promised you. I can't help but be angry with you though. I know you hate being a vampire and you are scared. You told me you'd cry everyday if you stayed here in SUnnydale. But everyday you hurt your friends and the people who love you most. Most of all I am hurting because I know the truth and am afraid I will not be able to keep it from them. Willow I'm sorry. I love you very much and wish you the best though. Please keep in touch.

Willow couldn't help but cry while she read Giles's email.
"Spike, we have to go back." She said.
"Whatever you want to do." They called the boat and got tickets to leave for California the next morning.
