Cordelia was trembling with fear. Her head was throbbing. She touched her forehead which had a bandage over it. She was soo confused. Spike smiled at her. He went and folded the newspaper he had been reading and finally spoke. "Don't worry Pet. I'm not going to kill you. Not today anyway." He said with a smirk. Cordelia was still confused.
"Why not?" She asked him. Spike had a suprised expression.
"Dissapointed?" He said finally smiling again. Cordelia was still clutching her pounding head. She tried to move a little and just managed to become extremely dizzy. "If I were you I wouldn't be moving alot. You are not well yet. Besides you try to walk out and you'll just accomplish nothing but probably collapsing. You took a pretty hard blow to the head." He said and went back to reading the paper. He finally got bored with it and threw it aside. He then grabbed a book and opened it to the bookmarked page. Cordelia went to stand up and leave but only fell to the ground. Spike went over and picked her up. She was too dizzy to object. He laid her on the bed and covered her with a blanket. Cordelia closed her eyes and tried to concentrate on something other than her pounding head. She felt someone tap on her shoulder. She saw Spike again. This time holding a tray. "Sit up ducks. So you can eat." Cordelia sat up slowly and Spike set the tray on her lap. She looked at the food as if trying to process exactly what it was. "Well pet. I know you are a human so I got you 'human' food. Didn't know your tastes exactly. So I took my chances on a small pizza. I mean 'EVERYONE' loves pizza right? Gotta admit even though I am what you would call a 'bloodsucking fiend' I still have to have a piece of pizza once in a while. Anyway, enough of my chitchat. Eat. Oh, yes. Here is a pepsi." He said putting the can on the tray.
"How do I know you didn't poison this food?" Cordelia asked.
"You don't. You can just either take your chances or starve. But I can tell you one thing. You are not leaving. Not til you are well anyway. So you might as well eat it." He said as he strolled around the room like the premadonna he is. Cordelia thought for a moment and decided she was too hungry to care if it was poisoned or not. If it was in fact poisoned at least she could go with a full stomache. She slowly ate the pizza and drank the pepsi. Spike picked up a wine bottle and drank out of it. He sat back in his chair and let out a long sigh. He was so bored. He was tempted to kill the girl but he rejected the idea. That's when the question he knew was coming was asked.
"Spike, why did you help me?" Cordelia asked. Spike gave a smile and took another quick drink.
"Well luv. Even after I killed you.." That thought made him smile. "You still helped me. I mean if it wasn't for you I'd be a puddle of ashes from the sun. So, I figure I owe you. Just this time though. Don't bet that next time we meet I won't kill you." He said smirking. That statement made Cordelia quiet. Spike chuckled a little bit. "I still don't know why YOU helped me though. Care to explain?" He asked Cordelia.
"No." She retorted. Spike put his hands up as if saying 'alright I surrender.' He laughed.
"Alright pet. No need to get defensive." He picked up his newspaper again. "I don't know why I helped you." Cordelia finally said. "I'm probably just going psycho. All I can say is that ever since you killed me....I've suddenly gained a ....soul-if that's what you would call it- and it's making me sick." Spike couldn't help but laugh at her reply. He liked this one. All the other slayers friends were annoying. But this one was feisty with some attitude. Spike liked that.

"Two Days! TWO DAYS! Where the heck is Cordelia?!?!" Xander yelled ripping at his hair. Willow gave him a sad expression. She walked over to Xander and put her hand on his shoulder. Giles had been even more worried about Cordelia. He even started getting very frustrated when our searches lead us to nowhere. But when Xander hoped she wasn't dead, Giles knew she wasn't. Who knows? Only God. "I'm sure everything will be Ok, Xander." She reassured him. But actually Willow wasn't sure herself if what she just said was true. She gave a half smile. Xander kept pacing back and forth. This started making Willow nervous. "Xander could you please sit down." Xander kept pacing. He picked up the phone and started dialing. "Who are you calling now?" Xander didn't answer. " XANDER!"
"What is it?" He said still distracted by the phone call he was making. Before Willow could reply Xander was talking on the phone.
"Yeah, hello. Angel?" Willow's eyes widened. (He's calling Angel?! Wow! He must really be worried.) "Yeah Angel....Umm....I need your help. Yeah Cordelia is...Oh you heard? Well, since you lurk I was wondering if you could lurk around into finding Cordelia.........So, you'll meet me tonight in the library?.......Alright, see you then." Xander hung up the phone. Willow just stared at him in disbelief.

Cordelia sat up and eased out of the bed slowly. She was finally sitting on the edge. She put her hands on the bed and used them to support her as she slowly and cautiously stood up. She'd been lying in bed for 2 and a half days straight, so, her legs felt extremely stiff. It was time to loosen them up. She finally was standing up. Actually she was standing on her legs but was hunched over like and old woman. She straightened out her back and stood straight up. She moved her legs finally. It wasn't a smooth walk. They were still stiff but loosening up little by little. She walked around the the house slowly. She wondered where Drusilla had been in the last few days. She was suprised Drusilla hadn't 'sensed' her here. She heard footsteps, but, she recognized them. It was Spike. "So, I see we're feeling better today. Walking and everything." He smirked at her. He had a bag in his hands. He tossed it on the bed. "Those are some new clothes. Since yours are all dirtied and torn I figured you needed something new." Cordelia went and looked at the bag. It was a pair of Tommy Hilfiger Jeans and Tommy Hilfiger shirt. She gave Spike a confused expression. Spike smiled. "What? Just because I'm practically 200 doesn't mean I don't know what's going on with style." Cordelia didn't reply. She took the clothes out of the bag and began to undress then stopped and looked at Spike. "Sorry, didn't know what I was thinking." He smiled at her then left the room. Cordelia finally changed into the clothes. After she was done she looked around the room and started exploring into things. She found things she read about in her history book. Of course, only a Vampire would own these things. She then opened a drawer and looked inside. Basically just books and things. She saw a crack in the drawer and it made her curiousity grow. She tore the crack open a bit wider to find it was a door to another compartment in the drawer. There she found a journal. She took it out. It was old. Probably from the 1800's. She opened it up slowly. You could hear the pages stretching out. It was a diary of Spikes, she finally discovered. She pondered if she should read it or not. She decided to.
Thank God Angel is back. Never thought I'd say that. But, now that Angel is back him and the Slayer can go back to their love life and I can get back to my life with Drusilla. Everything is back to normal the problem is I don't like it like that. I don't like Drusilla anymore. I'm beginning to think I never did love her. I mean I felt like her daddy in an incestuous kind of way. She killed the slayer, Ummm....Puffy or something like that. BUFFY. She killed her. She asked me for a present. A bird to be exact. But she did not know that the gift I was going to give her was a second death. So a few days ago, I finally killed her. We fought in the cemetary. She hit me pretty hard in the head. In fact so hard I was almost knocked out before I could even get the stake in her. But I managed to then I collapsed to the ground. I wasn't unconcious just to much in pain and to weak to get up. Then the girl I had killed(who was revived) and her boyfriend came and helped me. Actually her boyfriend rejected the idea but she was determined. She wasn't afraid of me. Perhaps cause she thought I was knocked out. But the thing is she helped me. Now, I feel I owe her for that. A vampire beat her up her up. I went to go save her. You know, just get the vampire off her so she could run home. But, the vampire beat her over the head and then slammed her up against a tombstone. It was really bad. Not enough to kill her but pretty close. So, I was stuck with bringing her to my place and taking care of her. She's been talking very little. I can tell her head bothers her. Probably the reason she isn't talking much. I hate talking with a pounding headache. Will lately I've been enjoying her company. Only because I'm used to having Dru around. Too bad I killed her.
Hrrrrummm.....Cordelia spun around dropping the book on the ground. "How long have you been there?" She asked. Spike walked over and picked up the book.
"Long enough. Do you have a habit of snooping in other peoples things?" He asked in a serious tone. Cordelia didn't answer. She could tell he was genuinely upset. "Your well enough to leave now. So go." He said coldly. Cordelia picked up her old clothes and quickly walked out of the place and ran straight to the library of all places.

Xander hugged her tightly. "I missed you soo much!" He said as he hugged Cordelia. She hugged him back. Willow came in and ran up to them. "Cordelia. Your back! What happened to you?" She said eyeing some of the bandages. Cordelia urged them to sit down and she explained everything. They almost couldn't believe the story. Giles then walked in and saw Cordelia. "Cordelia! You are alright! Please, come here. I need to talk to you he said grabbing Cordelia's arm and pulling her into the office.

2 weeks laters.
Cordelia walked through the cemetary all by herself. She sensed a vampire around. She sighed. She was almost tired of her 6th sense of sensing vampires around. "Well, haven't you learned your lesson about walking in the cemetary at night, luv?" Cordelia turned to see, who else? Spike. "How are you feeling ducks?"
"Fine." Spike walked slowly trying to frighten her but it wasn't working. "That's good. I'm glad. Hate to cut the small talk but I have to kill you now." He said easily and then ran up on her. He was about to pounce on her when she kicked him right in the middle of the chest. Spike fell to the ground catching his 'un-breath'. He quickly got up and went to kick her but she grabbed his leg in midair and used it to twist his whole body sending him once again to the ground. Spike growled with anger. (What is going on?) He thought to himself. He finally stood up and decided to take a slower approach. He growled at Cordelia. She didn't seem bothered by it at all. Spike stood in a fighting position. Cordelia yawned. She then slipped out a stake. Spike busted out laughing.
"Do you think you are going to kill me? Who do you think you are anyway?" He asked in laughter. Cordelia sprung into a fighting stance and replied. "Cordelia, the Vampire Slayer." Spike quickly stopped laughing. "What? You are a vampire slayer? You are the chosen one? The new one after Buffy died?...." He laughs some more. "Oh this is going to be fun." She stood still, but, was able and ready for Spike. He slowly went to her and started throwing punch and kicks which Cordelia easily blocked. She could see Spike getting frustrated. She had him where she wanted him. She finally punched Spike in the head which quickly sent him to the floor practically unconcious. She was about to stake him when she suddenly couldn't. He had helped her. But then he also had killed her. She argued with herself in her head. She couldn't kill him not yet. She ran off. She decided to make him suffer. She had to call Willow and get started on the Soul restoring ritual.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Cordelia?" Willow asked over the phone. "YES, I'm sure for the millionth time! But, lets do it tomorrow during the day so we are not disturbed by anybody or things." Cordelia said.
"Okaaayy." Was all Willow could say.
