Buffy layed down in her bed. She was in L.A. with her father. Her mother hadn't known where she was, but Buffy had been sure to call her every month or so to let her know she was o.k. Buffy was dreaming, usually she dreamt of reunions with Angel but not tonight. In her dream, she was a ghost standing around the bronze. It was Willow's birthday and the gang had thrown her a party. They danced and laughed . Buffy noticed two shadows appear out of no where. Spike and Drusilla. (What are they doing there?) Dru spoke to them and Spike just watched. This was not a social call, she could tell. They were going to kill them all. Buffy awoke. Today was Willow's birthday. (Oh my god, what if my dream comes true??) Alarmed and scared for her friends, Buffy packed up her stuff. She jumped out of the window. She had to go home to Sunnydale, if not for herself but for her friends...her friends whose lives could be in danger.

Spike and Drusilla walked an empty road. They were on their way to the bronze. Dru had a vision that told her that it was Willow's birthday. There was a party at the bronze, just for the birthday girl. "Spike, it's going to be a great birthday for Willow?" Dru said coyly. "Why's that, pet? "Spike asked. "Because...it's going to be her last." Dru replied. Dru laughed. It was time to get her revenge .

The room was filled with the "Slayer" gang. Willow, Oz, Cordelia, Xander and Giles stood in the bronze, singing happy birthday to Willow. When the song was over, Willow blew out the candles. Oz walked over to her and handed her a box. "Here, Happy birthday" Oz said. Willow opened the box. It was a silver friendship ring. "Um, buddy, you know you're her boyfriend right?" Xander said. Cordelia elbowed Xander in the stomache. "You know sometimes it's customary to" Giles began his sentence but was cut off by Oz. "It's a friendship ring. I gave it to you because you're more than just my girlfriend, you're my best friend" . Willow looked at Oz dreamily. That was the sweetest thing a guy had ever said to her.

Spike and Drusilla entered the bronze. They made their appearence unknown, lurking in the shadows. Willow was hugging Oz. Drusilla motioned to Spike that it was time. They stepped out of the shadows. "Hello mates" Spike said to the crowd. Everyone stopped doing what they were doing. All had the look of shock and fear. "We're going to have a real party with streamers and songs" Dru said innocently. Dru walked out of the room. Spike stood there. "Don't anyone get fancy over here....we wouldn't want to ruin Dru's fun" Spike told the people. "Wh...hat do you want?" Willow asked. Spike ignored her question. Sudennly, the lights dimmed and a song came on. "Translyvaninan Cocubine" by Rasputina flowed thru the room. Dru walked back in and began to dance. "Do you like to dance , pet?"Dru asked Xander. "Um..yeah, I usually like to dance with the living though" Xander said. "Not that the living would want to dance with you anyway" Cordelia remarked. Drusilla chuckled. They were a cute couple, they argued more than anything else. "Now let the games begin" said Dru. Dru walked over to Xander and pulled him close to her. She heard a footstep, she would have taken a bite out of Xander but the sound alarmed her. "Please, let's let those games begin" a voice said. Spike noticed a strand of blond hair. Buffy walked into the room. "You made a promise Spike" said Buffy. "Didn't your mother ever teach you that promises were made to be broken?" Spike replied. "Well now there's no deal, you're going to hurt and you're going to hurt, real bad" Buffy said. She punched Spike in the left cheek of his face. Spike fell down to the ground. Dru whimpered and rushed over to Buffy. Buffy kicked Drusilla but Dru didn't fall. "Get out of here" screamed Buffy. Willow and the gang ran out of the bronze , Cordelia screaming her head off. Dru and Buffy continued to fight, exchanging kicks and punches. Spike slowly came to. "Dru" Spike called. "Just stop right there vampy" Buffy said to Spike. Buffy pulled out a stake. Dru stood motionless.
