no longer will I let your confusion consume all
I watch as the twinkle of your eye fades to an end
no longer into your eyes I will fall
I smile knowing I can breathe easy again
a season is over i’ve weathered the squall
time for the season of spring to enter in
time for the rebirth of all that passed away
time for the carelessness to ultimately begin
time to see the beautiful light of a new day
time to display a smile once again
time to see an eclipsing darkness fade

your two faces confused and bewildered me
I would hang on every word every lie
before your second face I refused to see
now it’s so painfully loud I can’t deny

I don’t care what you have to say
your words affect me no more
I just turn to walk away
behind me forcefully closing the door
i’m no longer your moldable clay
someone else can take my place
I no longer want to speak with you
too many tears have rolled down our face
we wasted so many hateful and meaningless words too
now out of your life I will step with grace

your two faces confused and bewildered me
I would hang on every word every lie
before your second face I refused to see
now it’s so painfully loud I can’t deny

I stand strong for the first time since you
the scars are clearer then daylight on a summer’s morn
you’ve taken so much from me I can never forgive you
unable to forget you with my hands so torn
unable to fill you’re gapping whole
forever part of my past you’ll be
but I won’t look upon it with a smiling soul
I can’t deny you you’re a bad memory
glad to take back your acquired control

your two faces confused and bewildered me
I would hang on every word every lie
before your second face I refused to see
now it’s so painfully loud I can’t deny

I would hang on every word every lie
now it’s so painfully loud I can’t deny

on the side
this side note is going to be a little different then the rest. it's not going to give you any info on the poem, rather this side note will plead that the person this poem is about realizes where i was when i wrote this poem. that they understand that i don't mean those words. it was just a way of venting emotion.
