with the leaves so falls my desire
gracefully floating towards the ground
there’s only death to look forward to
once green now the red of fire
the foilage was ignorant
thinking it could stay attached
thinking it could stand the season
believing it was more than a simple plant

so many mistakes made for no reason
I can only apolize for my wrongs
and pray with age come the secrets of season
bless me with the secrets of season

the icicles smile with foolish pride
seeing the start of another year
they plan to see many more
then water drops as tears from eyes
slowly their life drips away
astonished they can do nothing
if only they had the knowledge before
maybe they would have appreciated each day

so many mistakes made for no reason
I can only apolize for my wrongs
and pray with age come the secrets of season
bless me with the secrets of season

I pray with age come the secrets of season

on the side
i know this poems seems like its about death, but it's not. it's about not realizing things until it's too late to fix them. i wrote this when i kinda got involved with a girl and shouldn't have. and i should have known better.
