From A23 take the A27 towards Lewes. 

Turn right onto the A26 to Newhaven (at the roundabout after the level crossing.) 

On the approach to Newhaven take the left slip road (Avis Road) to roundabout. Bear left on 

the A259 towards Seaford. Continue until you reach a mini roundabout just past Seaford 

Station. At this roundabout turn right and carry straight on – the church is on your left. 

From Brighton follow the A259 to Seaford then as before at the mini roundabout.

		From the church return to the mini roundabout and turn right. 

Follow the A259 until you reach  the Texaco garage on the sharp bend. 

On the bend turn left into Alfriston Road. Follow this road until you reach Alfriston 

Village (approx 2 miles). At the centre of the village keep the 

Market cross on your right and follow West Street to Sloe Lane and the hotel.
