FEATURES:  3 bedrooms / 2 updated baths. The eat-in kitchen with pantry has been redone from top to bottom.   There's a separate dining room or, in our case,  home office.  The living room is large and sunny.  The huge new family room features  a beautiful fireplace (gas logs or wood), built-in bookcases and desk, real wood blinds, and double tray ceiling with Hunter ceiling fan.  It's even wired for surround-sound!  A cozy, fabulous room!

There's lots of storage! Besides the normal bedroom closets, linen and coat closets, there is a large cedar lined closet that's great for storing winter clothes and Christmas decorations.  The laundry room has oodles of storage.  Then there are two outside utility rooms, as well as an open potting shed.  If that's not enough, there are pull-down stairs on the carport to stash away even more!

Location: Tired of filling your gas tank?  This is an amazing location! Within 3 miles of our house there is everything you could need: all the schools, two parks, lake access, boat ramp, many restaurants, banks, Hollywood Cinemas, building supplies, post office, groceries, Lakeshore Colonial Mall, the new Publix complex with Ross, Marshalls, and the rest.  A tank of gas lasts me for a month!
This home is located on a large corner lot at the back of Lakeshore Heights Subdivision.  Lakeshore Heights is an established subdivision with lots of old trees - a very green and homey place -  more like a neighborhood than a subdivision.
This house, being located on the circle at the back of the subdivision, is a great place for children.  There is no traffic except for residents living on the other side of the circle.  Older kids find the circle a great place for riding bikes!

EXTRAS:

All the house is updated with a  happy décor and colors.  No wagon wheels, avocado green, dark brown, or burnt orange left anywhere!

This is evident in this photo of the once-dreary dining room turned cheerful office.  This room is also wired for cable internet and an extra phone line.

The kitchen features lots of cabinets - more than I can photo here.  They're solid wood with fresh paint and new hinges and knobs.

This is the view leading to the family room.

Though my kitchen decor is a bit 50's, that's only the accessories.  The "bones" are quite classic.

There's a Large pantry and window-seat concealing the “recycle center”

The L-shaped, eat-in kitchen has a large dining area looking out onto the back porch and yard.

The Living room is a spacious and happy place to be.

With an Entry niche and hallway at the front, and a 9' window to the back, it's airy and open.

The professional faux painting and crown moldings make this room as beautiful as a sunny day at the beach.

The Master bedroom is roomy and serene, with separate closets for Him and Her. This is a California King sized bed, wide and long, but still leaving plenty of room for two bedside tables and two additional large pieces of furniture.

The master bath is 60's small, but also has 60's quality and pretty tile color.  The lower walls, floor and entire shower are ceramic tile. "New and Improved" are the cabinet, lavatory, faucet, mirror and lighting!

One bedroom is beautifully decorated for a little girl.  The sky ceiling leads to a row of flower fairies, atop a wash of tiny rose buds.  The trim above and below the fairy border is made of wood, with the lower trim piece having shaker pegs for hanging pictures, hats, purses, or whatever makes you smile!
If you're missing the little girl for this picture, the look can be easily changed with a new border, or a bold stripe in it's place.  Nix the roses, and you're done.
This room has beautiful refinished hardwood floors and custom built shelving and hanging for the closet.

The third bedroom is located on the sunny, front of the house, with light pouring into double windows.  The hardwood floors have been newly refinished.  This room is wired for internet, cable TV, and a separate phone line.

The hall bath is hard to photograph, but it's quite pretty.

It's shades of beige and white, with ceramic tile walls, counter, and floors.  The upper part of the walls are professionally faux painted.  The sink, faucet, countertop, and glass tub/shower doors, and chrome lighting are all new.  The cabinetry is solid wood with new hinges and knobs.

This picture details the faux painting style.  It's very textural and pretty.

This den is a jewel!  Entering from the kitchen, the fireplace is on the wall to the left.  The triple doors to the right conceal the laundry room with loads of storage.  Glass blocks above the door let in more natural light by day, or provide indirect lighting for TV watching by night.

The room is about 20'x20'.  Room for multiple activities and lots of friends.

Folding the laundry while watching TV ain't all bad either.  I've personally really enjoyed this feature :-)

I included this photo of the hall to show off the hardwood floors that are throughout the house everywhere except the kitchen and family room.  Also notice the energy saving whole house attic fan, and the faux painted walls.

The azaleas, rhododendrons, and hostas at the back and side of the house put on quite a show in spring!  (Angelic little girl not included.)

Beyond the trampoline there's a huge side yard.  It gets sun all day, making it the perfect spot for a veggie garden.

This is one of my babies.  She stands up quite well in Georgia - even pretty in the snow.  In a few years she'll be tall enough to make you think you're at the beach!

I'm Donna on the right.  I've been in this home 14 years.  Jenni~Rose was born here,  literally, in the master bedroom.  Doug joined us when we married 4 years ago.
