Good morning! Tis 0230 hrs, & I'm listening to "In the Light" by dc Talk on iTunes for the fortieth thyme.

It's 0231 hrs. I am weigh behind on reading my beeswax law textbook, & my last regular day of class is 2morrow.

As I currently listen to "Second Chance" by .38 Special for the tenth time, I was earlier listening to 101.5 KGFM-FM while readin' my textbook. Thru-out Nov. & Dec., the station has been playin' Xmas carols & contemporary songs nonstop. It is 47? in Bakersfield 2nite.

It's 0245 hrs as I begin listening to WOXY.com on Windows Media Player. What has been pestering me mentally when I was listenin' 2 all them carols was how my family has the Xmas spirit. & I just only thought about how I lack it. I'm tryin' 2 type on this blog what I can say w/o steppin' on eggshells or whatever. Now playing on WOXY.com is "Today Is the Day" by Apollo Sunshine. It's 0247 hrs. I haven't scheduled an appt. w/ Dr. Urias in the past week or 2. I could wrationalize & say that I'm givin' my Czech-book or my Mom's checkbook a rest by deferrin' on twenty-dollar copay & stuff. Incidentally, I have an appointment w/ my optometrist 2morrow afternoon. I think what I wish 2 Cher w/ my therapist is how I underwent yett another moode swing. Recently, I went thru kind of a carefree mood swing. Or maybe I just had some daze & knights when I just didn't give a hoot. It's 0251 hrs. I better resume readin' my business law book.

It's 0257 hrs. Now playing on AccuHolidays.com or whatever is "Angels We Have Heard on High" by Papa Wemba & Mino Cinelu, from the World Christmas compliation album. I'm currently reedin' the section on warranty liability of partys.

It's 0304 hrs. Now playing is "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings" by Barenaked Ladies & Sarah McLachlan. The last time that I played streamin' audio from AccuHolidays, Anna was in the room. She skipped over any songs by Barenaked Ladies just because she instinctively thinks they suck. & I'm sure that my whole family isn't 2 open-minded w/ my choice of music 2 spread Xmas cheer or whatever. Now playing is "I'll Be Home for Christmas" by Larry Chance & the Earls. It's 0314 hrs. I am reminded of the last family road trip that I can remember that went beyond Las Vegas--the Yellowstone trip in the spring of '91, I believe--when my mother chose 2 play a cassette of Xmas carols. It was just a run-of-the-mill compliation of Christmas songs from nameless artists; musta been cheep. @ my hasty pace, I figure that since my folks enjoy Christmas carols so much, I'll probably go 2 Wal-Mart & look 4 that Clay Aiken Xmas CD. While my siblings will give me their usual amount of crap for obtaining such music, I assume my parents won't mind. Christmas albums by 'N-Sync, 98?, Mariah Carey, & Brooks & Dunn were all purchased by me. Pardon me for using passive voice. Now playing is "Ave Maria" by (hmm) Michael Bolton w/ Placido Domingo. It's 0319 hrs.

Its 0324 hrs. As I listen to Michael Bolton and Placido Domingo, I'm reminded of when Bolton actually performed some form of a aria @ the American Music Awards a few years back. It's 46? outside. As I surf on over to the Bonnie Bernstein fansite on Yahoo!, its the same ol' same ol' w/ the Bonniephiles. U'no, K-C gives some ridiculous nicknames for sports teems he h8s. Or rob7223686, talks about being humbled by his Steelers losin' 2 the Clots or so & his thing w/ the demo & stuff. CR3861 managed 2 mention me; something about a B? cardbored cutout from a Danasi ad. It's 0333 hrs. So when do I get 2 mention about the drawering I made of Bonnie underwater amongst "guinea pig fish"? I'm still buggin' Anna 2 draw a C-hoarse w/ a cockatiel's head on it. I guess when I finally move out of the house, Anna won't have 2 put up w/ such dumbass requests from me anymore. I hope she appreci8s it. Sigh. Back 2 the carols & the book. Something about defences against being a holder in due coarse. It's 0335 hrs. Now playing is "What Child Is This" by Ardelio Gomez. I'm sure Alain, Anna, & Jasmyn won't like this version.

It's 0349 hrs. Now playing is "Jingle Bells" by Frank Sinatra & Bing Crosby. If ever this song appears on KGFM, I'm sure my Mom & Dad won't minde.

U'no, I do remember issuing a sorta worksheet, multiple-choice quiz kinda thingy that pertained to certain animated TV series, uh, "Garfield's Babes & Bullets" or something, w/ vocab. & everything. Musta been 'round the early nineties. I'd give it 2 Jasmyn & she'd finish it & stuff. I guess I just mite b a teacher after all. Is this Trace Adkins, the country signer? Now playin' is "The Christmas Song" by Adkins, & it's 0357 hrs.

I gotta start watchin' the gnus more often. 17 News & 29 Eyewitness News has, like, the most beautiful female newscasters! Melissa Magee, Alexia Kapinaris {sp}, Tami Mlcoch, Lisa Krch, etc. Mmm, mmm, mmm! In the meantime, Bette Midler (yuck! My Mom loves her) sings "White Christmas" on AccuHolidays. It's 0403 hrs. Mann, Anna sure has a lotta crap on this desk; she oughta clean this &%??$ up! It's 0405 hrs; kurrently playin' is "Baby It's Cold Outside" by Barry Manilow w/ K.T. Olsin. I didn't even no that was a Xmas song. I no it ain't no carol. Well, there's Michael Bolton again, singin' "Joy to the World" on AccuHolidays. It's 0416 hrs. G, sounds just as upbeet as the version Mariah Carey did. I wonder if he's gonna do the part by Three Dog Night, 2? Now playing is "White Christmas" by Hanson. I could skip it if I wish, but I did rank "MMMbop" as my favourite song of '97, & it is 0424 hrs. How masochistic am I? It's 0430 hrs; currantly playin' is "Let It Snow" by Michael Buble. U'no, I never herd his X-Over song "Home" on KGFM. That's 2 bad; so it seamz I've only heard his music on AccuRadio.com. Now playing is the "loo-loo" version of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" by The Dino Martinis. U'no, like on that Peanuts Xmas cartoon that ABC always shows on December?

It's 0440 hrs. Now playing is "The Twelve Days of Christmas" by The Chipmunks. This is from their album "Greatest Christmas Hits." In our house, we just have one Chipmunks CD, so we're pretty much limited 2 whatever's on that CD thru-out these holidays. U'no, that "hang up your stocking" song & what knot. My textbook has an interesting story that involves Rabobank. The name is familiar cuz that's what represents the sports arena we have in town. It's 0444 hrs. In a section called "Maker of Promissory Notes Liable to HDC," it's about how a guy that was draughted in the NFL 'round 1983, Leonard Smith was his name; he invested in sum chattel-breeding thingy & it involves Rabobank, based in Holland. I think he got, like, screwed over or something. Something about fraud in the phantom? It's 50? in Bakersfield. & I think Smith was drafted in the same year as John Elway, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, & all those really great football guys. If I were 2 ask a lingerie-clad B? who those "Class of '83" guys were while givin' her foot rubbs, mayB I could get a good answer. It's 0450 hrs. Now playing is "Sleigh Ride" by The Ronettes.

Since it's 0453 hrs, aisle probably 4go listening 2 WOXY.com when I Finnish reading Chapter 24 of this stupid book. Greetings! It's 1212 hrs. I'm in the passenger seat of my car, parked at Hart Park. The car faces a pond where a large flock of ducks and geese are ashore. A family has also stopped by; their SUV's parked five spaces to the left of me; that's where the fowl are. Now a collection of mallards, (most of 'em) are under a tree, where my car's parked under. I'm also listening to "West Coast Kid" by tobymac featuring Paul Wright. It's the closing song on my "Morgan Sisters Industries Mixtape vol. iii." Boy, those geese are noisy.

It's 1221 hrs. I paused from writing to observe the birds and listen to that song again. At least it's nice to observe birds that ain't twelve annoying cockatiels for a change. Tis too bad I don't got me some bread for those ducks to pay attention to me.

it's 1231 hrs. I just visited the restroom and the geese are in plain view in my windshield. I've also rewound my cassette to play "West Coast Kid." I came to Hart Park 'cause I didn't get much sleep last night and chose to drive here to rest. Good thing I found a parkin' space with ample shade. I wish Anna were here with her digital camera; she takes photos of everything. I probably heard my "biological clock" tick because I imagined having my kids here to watch these birds. I do wish I could've given Grandpa Jake & Grandma Eleonor some great-grandkids while they were around. So far, no children from me or my siblings yet; I do think about whether Jasmyn will marry before I do. It's 1239 hrs, as the song already ended. I ain't got the AM radio on.

It appears the geese and ducks in front of me are resting beneath this tree. Later on today, I have to go to my Dad's office and have my aunt, Tita Rose, prepare seven copies of the next Cydney C. chapter I just finished last night--the introduction to Peter Abercrombie, the state politician who becomes Cydney's friend and lover. It's 1242 hrs. Then I gotta post this on the blog over at the computer commons at BC. And then, I must present my latest Cydney C. chapter to the creative writers' club at the bookstore. I shouldn't be gone for more than a week. It's a little disconcerting how I can actually see the ass-feathers of some of these birds directed towards me (and one goose just defecated). The radio's still off & it's 1246 hrs.

Football season just began. I know that plenty of the Bonniephiles are doing the fantasy football thing. Even B? herself is playin' fantasy football w/ her fellow CBS Sports cohorts. I hope she wins an actual prize instead of just the abstract knowledge of knowing so much about football. Pardon me; I had a lil trouble w/ the correction tape. It's 1254 hrs.

It's 1259 hrs. Now it's 1300 hrs. If memory serves me, my Dad's lunch brake ends 'round 1:30, so I can leave by that time. Sum o' the Bonniephiles made mention of Bonnie's VBS (not vacation Bible school but, visible bra strap) from a broadcast from last season. And that got me thinking of the tiwo Bonnie sketches I made--one of her in lingerie (w/ a guinea pig), and other one of her beneath the sheets naked (with a guinea pig). I'm in a dilemma to scan & display these drawings on my website. But because of a scandal where a female sportscaster was sleepin' w/ a major leaguer & I think something about a former sportscaster about 2 appear in Playboy, the situation still has not "blown over." But I might display it anytime soon. I would have it up for a day or two, send a message, & wait for at least one disapprovin' comment 2 prompt me 2 take the image off the website. It's 1307 hrs.

Football isn't so much a big thing in the Pangilinan household. Dad and Alain were actually interested in the men's final of the U.S. Open (Federer def. Agassi) rather then Week One of the NFL. My brother is still waiting for the NBA season 2 begin. If I hadn't mentioned it 2 u already, Filipinos [IMAO NEweigh] seem 2 be more interested in basketball then any other sports, except 4 boxing. The day of the Super Bowl is pretty much regarded like a holiday. You know, my folks would show up at their friends' house, gather w/ other friends, & watch the game. And then they'd sing karaoke afterwards.

It's 1318 hrs. A few more motorists/families arrive bringin' bread 4 da byrdz. & the geese & dux r no longer in front of me. A family who has parked right next to me [driver's side] & one goose right by window! "Sorry, dude. Don't got no bread," I (don't) say to it, "but...do you like Christian rock?" The bird's gone; guess not.

I also brought w/ me $20 or so so that I buy Brooks & Dunn's gnu album while I'm meetin' w/ the creative writers' club at Barnes & Noble. I play "West Coast Kid" again. It's all hip-hop to me.

There's that goose again by my door. It's 1:25.

A group of what appears to be Filipino motorists show up, pose for a shapsnot, & probably come 2 watch these ducks. It looks like I mostly see geese. The family that was parked next to me leaves, & another motorist pulls up. I can hear his AM radio; it sounds like he's listening to ESPN Radio at 710 AM; I assumed it was 1230 AM. It turns out I can get this station clearly myself {until I drove thru downtown}; I thought it was an L.A. station. It's 1330 hrs.

One more thing I wanna bring up before I run out of space. I may suck at fantasy basketball, but I love playing the franchise mode on EA Sports NHL 2004 for GameCube--the closet thing to fantasy hockey. It's more hands-on than just merely following statistics. I maintain two franchises, the Minnesota Wild and the Washington Capitals. I'm in the third year in the franchise mode. The Wild sucked in Year 1; the Capitals won one playoff series. In Year 2; MN finished 2nd in the league but lost in the Western Conference Semis 2 the despised Red Wings. In Year 2; I gave DC & Jaromir Jagr the Cup. & then I traded him away cuz he was just 2 expensive 2 keep. No wonder there was a lockout (& that he ended up takin' a pay cut as a Ranger). I'm currently on Year 3. Right now 4 the Wild, I have made a killer starting line of Marian Gaborik, Teemu Selanne, & my created sk8er named Sven. Sven is my leading scorer. The Wild has only lost four games & clinched a playoff berth in Feb. As for the Capitals, I have three created sk8rs--Sven, Mattias, & get this: Kelly Preston. (Either that or Kelly Clarkson; maybe when I get NHL 2006.)

{That reminds me. I think b4 I head over 2 Barnes & Noble, I can drive a block west of it & stop by Circuit City; see when the shipment of EA Sports NBA Live 2006 comes in & what price it is [compared 2 Best Buy).

Realisin' that www.Billboard.com also has Internet radio broadcasts of their charts, I chose 2 mosey on over 2 their countdown. What's different about this net-only broadcast is that they do not play every song on the Top 40 portion of their chart. I am actually contempL8n' listening 2 these broadcasts regularly here in the BC computer commons & undoing this "Post-Countdown Withdrawal." After all, difficultys regarding tryin' 2 podcast is shaking my belief that I can listen 2 the Top 40 countdown again on a regular basses. Now playing on the Billboard countdown is the uncharted "I'll Stand By You" by Patti LaBelle. Boy, is it boring. It's 1552 hrs. Also, I'm sure that I have 2 read another chapter from my Business Law textbook. It's probably Ch. 11. I could listen 2 a jazz station over the Internet here b4 comin' 2 the bookstore, or I could read the textbook while the sound system at Barnes & Noble plays it's music. I'll probably do the latter. It's 1606 hrs. This is the first thyme I'm listening to "Gold Digger," the new #1 hit by Kanye West f/ Jamie Foxx [climbing eighteen notches]. I think I did hear it on the FM radio. Well, lemme pluck the "I miss it" petal off of that daisy. It's 1609 hrs. Uh-oh. The new song "I Don't Care" by Ricky Martin plays. Um-hmm. I miss it not. It's 1612 hrs. It's 1616 hrs & the #15 song (now #11) "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Bay plays. {That reminds me. I need 2 draw a picture of B? in a Green Day Packers t-shirt.) Pluck! I miss it. Out of the seven year-end Top 100 lists I've compiled, I can only clearly recall ranking "Geek Stink Breath" on my Top 100 of 1995 list, somewhere in the Bottom 25. U remember that song? I think Krab Radio still plays it, along w/ the rest of Green Bay's gr8est hitz. Oh. I also did rank their ballad "Time of Your Life (Good Riddance)" on my Top 100 of '98; probably Bottom 75. Good evening! Or if I past this in my blog after my business law class, good morning! It's 1945 hrs as I write. Now playing on my Windows Media Player is the live version of "Cooling" by Tori Amos.

I'm supposed to do a lotta crap over the next thirty-six hours. I need to make the second chapter of my "I Am Cydney Calagayan" novel that introduces the major character of Peter Abercrombie. It's 1948 hrs.

I have decided to switch over from my Tori Amos playlist to what I call Playlist Essex. Currently playing is "Liquid" by Jars of Clay. I need to examine the songs Anna put in my iPod.

It's 1954 hrs. Currently playing is a favourite hit song of mine, "King of Wishful Thinking" by Go West. You know, from the "Pretty Woman" soundrack? Has it been fifteen years? I have played this song two hundred & thrity-three times on Windows Media Player.

Anyway, I gots plenty of stuff to do, like the assignment from my PC accounting course, although I don't know if it will be covered in class or not. {Update: it's covered but perhaps I better hopp 2 it.] Now playing is another favorite of mine, "Things Can Only Get Better" by Howard Jones. Mom & Dad have been watching on NBC The Eagles' fare-thee-well concert. We now have absolutely no DirecTV programming, including the crappy channels like RFD-TV or Trinity Broadcasting Network. And TBN on Channel 55 has awful reception as always.

Currently playing is "Saturn" by Skillet, the third-to-last-song on Playlist Essex. I have before me a clipout of an article from The Bakersfield Californian. It's about blogs. I don't know if I will share this with the guys at the creative writers' club on Monday night. I should be also doing archiving of my sound bites; I have my simple mp3 player and my Zip drive connected and operatin'. "Send It Up" by Vertical Horizon plays. It's 8:07 PM.

Originally, like an hour ago, I was gonna make my first drawing of Melanie Dawn Simon. She was a student I really liked in high school. The impulse came to me when I heard "Marianne" on my Tori Amos playlist. (Currently playing is "Super Good Feeling" by Bleach.) So far, I've made plenty of drawings of female sportscasters or newscasters, mainly of CBS Sports reporter Bonnie Bernstein. A lot of those drawings are up on my website. It's 2013 hrs. Now playing is "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood.

You know, maybe I should make public the kind of playlists I listen to. After all, I now know the kind of music (some artist named Jem) that golfer Natalie Gulbis likes. Let me get my floppy disk. It's 2016 hrs.

I missed the weekly chat session conducted by the Bonniephiles. I think they might've been discussing sports like the NFL. And I'm also missing "The American Country Countdown with Bob Kingsley" on KUZZ-FM. But from loggin' on the countdown's website, I now know that Tracy Lawrence's "Used to the Pain" debuted. It's 2020 hrs.

It's 2049 hrs. I have stopped archiving so that I can resume playing Playlist Essex, staring with Club Nouveau's "Lean on Me." I was going to type down my playlists on a Notepad file on my floppy. Of course, it would take more than two minutes. And my aging PC could crash or something like that. Remember the motion picture "Life or Something Like It" starring Angelina Jolie and Tony Shalhoub? Now playing is a song from ten years ago by Skee-Lo called "I Wish."

Umm, if I remember from my last two blog entries, I have invented my own English dialect, or really, I only modified what I call "chat room English" or "email English." Another knuance that yall shall notice is that I also present in my compositions all the strange nuances of English. U'no, homonyms, numerals, homophones, and all that. It feels weird writin' this stuff rather then typin' it. (Now playin' is "Head Over Heels," one of four Tears For Fears songs I have on Windows Media Player. It's 2059 hrs.) Did u notice that? In my last sentence? I used "then" rather then "than." I think there are some of yall out in cyberspace who make that mistake, u'no, like "lay" & "lie" or "trail" or "trial". "Than" is used in comparative purposes. Ex: "Bonnie Bernstein is hotter than Jill Arrington or Suzy Kolber" or "Matchbox 20 ain't no better than Vertical Horizon or the Goo Goo Dolls."

And speakin' of "ain't." Ever since "Ain't Misbehavin'," a song enjoyed by our grandparents or great-grandparents has that "word" been a bit of a troublemaker when it comes to English or proper manners & stuffe like that. Now I have noticed that "ain't" is typically prevalent in conversation and in pop song lyrics. It's 2108 hrs.

The song" Bombs Over Baghdad" by OutKast gives way to "Everything She Wants" by Wham! Anna, my thirteen-year-old sister, is presumably before her computer doin' that Instant Messaging thingy. Right now, my time is becoming less then superfluous or whatever. I have not had supper, I wish to play a video game, and I don't think my PC can keep up w/ me, you know. So lemme write sum koncluding thoughts (The song "I've Been Thinking about You" by Londonbeat concludes.) Someday, I will get thirty people to noitce my website and sign my guestbook or reply to my blog entries. Will Melanie Simon, my hi school friend Jaime V, or even Bonnie Bernstein and her legion of fans be among 'em? It's too soon to say. I do long for "Independence Day," and I ain't talkin' 'bout that Will Smith movie. Eventually, I will also explain the picture of my dead guinea pig. It's 2120 hrs. I am presently listening to "In Your Dreams (Exit Calypsan)" by Falling Up. So far, Falling Up has been my favorite Christian rock band to listen to this year. & as of now, I am very much impressed w/ this song. This is from they're CD "Dawn Escapes." I'm actually contempL8n' weather I should buy another album from them such as this 1. I loved Kutless last year as my favourite Christian rock band; I went to their free concert that year @ the Kern County Fair. But so far, I don't have a real interest in getting another album, such as the one that contains there #1 hit "Strong Tower," which I ain't that crazy about. Now it's 1320 hrs. It's also 93? here in Bakersfield. And as I listen to YRock on the Internet radio, Sanctus Real's "The Fight Song" will give weigh 2 "Nobody" by Cadet.

Good morning/afternoon, y'all! Currently I'm listening to "Temptation" by Shei Atkins over the Internet radio from YHot. This is the first day of classes in the fall semester at Bakersfield College. My baby sister Anna is away on a cruise with my Mom, so activity in the den has been quiet. Instead of the PC playing alternative music & the TV set to Channel 58 while Anna does that Instant Messaging thingy, I put the TV on Channel 49 while I edit and transcribe sound bites. Mom & Anna return on Wednesday, & by that time, I'll try to get Anna to help me format my iPod. Now playing is "'Bout a Thang" by Tonex. I wonder if I can download the songs YHot plays? Maybe I should check the website 2 find out. I'm also interested in downloading songs from iTunes.

Currently playing is "Alright" by Promise d'Apostle featuring Juande. I've been meaning to sit down and type this. But if you have followed me to the Bonnie Bernstein fan site on Yahoo!, you would observe the unusual way that I type. Well, as soon as I have breakfast or lunch at McDonald's (probably lunch as I would get there after 10:30 AM) I'll return to the computer and tell ya why.

Blondie's Anniversary Party
If you hadn't noticed already, the comic strip Blondie is celebrating it's anniversary. And this means that, as I look at today's strip, only the old-time favourites, such as Beetle Bailey, Hagar the Horrible, Garfield, For Better or For Worse, etc. are invited. None of the fresher, hipper comics have been invited. No Luann. No Baby Blues. No Frazz. No Baldo. Not even Get Fuzzy. & notice that nobody from Jump Start, the Boondocks, or Curtis were invited. This is not meant to offend African-Americans, but do you think that because there are almost no black characters seen in "Blondie," that their invitations had a little message at the bottom saying, "No coloreds please"? I mean, think about how seriously behind-the-times "Blondie" is! I mean, sure they mention the Dixie Chicks, display the Internet, and 9/11 patriotism, but would it kill them to feature a black guy on the strip once in awhile? You know, like, have a pimp appear on the strip or something like that. (Naw, just kidding!) What, is ink still expensive for cartoonists to shade in characters? %$*& you, Blondie, you racist pigs!

I'm now listening to an audio sample of "I Can't Do This" by Christian rock band Plumb. The song is currently #2 on the Weekend 22 Countdown. The band also has compelled me to ask, "Did somebody say Evanescence?" Granted, Plumb has been around longer then the Grammy-winning "not-so-Christian" rock band, & a few of their earlier songs sound reminiscent of Evanescence. But I ain't sure if they have that band on their minds when they made their upcoming CD, "Chaotic Resolve." Maybe I should so a lil research 2 figure that out. Tiffany Arbuckle, the frontwoman for the band, looks very much like Amy Lee, the frontwoman for Evanescence, in the latter band's "Going Under" video. Incidentally, I had the opportunity to see Plumb perform at our church a few years ago. They rocked the house & I had a blast. Plus, the concert was free.

I'm currently listening to full-length samples of two songs by Christian rock signer Krystal Meyers: "The Way to Begin," which hit #1 on the Weekend 22 Countdown, & her possible follow-up, "Anticonformity." Everytime I hear "The Way to Begin" on KDUV-FM, I always ask myself, "Did somebody say Avril Lavigne?" And I listened to the words to "Anticonformity" a few times, I could tell that Meyers is pretty much going by the whole Avril template. (Yes, it's also ironic that the song's called "Anticonformity.") But I can't criticise too much on Christian rock's cookie-cutter answer to Avril. Besides, ain't a lotta them Christian rock artists cookie-cutters of some pop/rock artist?
