It validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict and uses valid CSS as dictated by the w3c. It is coded using div layers. The menu bar is quite snazzy with background colour changes on hover. The design is fluid, expanding to fill any resolution, and squishing down to fit into smaller browser windows. The navigation bar is a fixed width of 200 pixels.

The text in this layout also fluidly wraps around the menu, allowing no wasted space. Fantastic!

When you write a lot of content in this area, the side bar image will extend, continuing the lines beautifully.
