First
and foremost,
fellow New Yorkers, we all have our
favorite clubs we belong to, however, I strongly encourage you to
join the one(s) that have initiatives and actions that attribute to
openeing new trails and keeping current ones open. Also, ones
that are very agressive in lobbying against the registration fee's,
$45.00 each is "NUTS"!
Last year I did not join any club due to no one would return my
emails asking what their initiatives were. Hopefully, it is not
the same thing this year.
Trail Pass, well, not sure about that ordeal yet, all I know they want
to charge $75.00 per bike to ride their trails? The $75.00 on top
of the $45.00 registration is really :NUTS"! Trail Pass is a good
initiative if there is returns on our money for trail developement and
maintenance.
MY SUGGESTION: All clubs ban together, pool their resources and
hire one "Kick Butt Lawyer!"
