My Funeral.

Everyone was so sad at my funeral
Their tears came frequent and thick
Crowded around my casket, they all
Felt so depressed and sick

Why oh why did you do this?
Why oh why did you leave?
Why oh why did you have to die
Before you could feel relief?

Everyone was so sad when they heard
The news brought a shock that tore through
My feelings and actions created a painting
In the coldest shade of blue

Why oh why did you do this?
Why oh why did you leave?
Why oh why did you have to die
Before you could be relieved?

When mired in sorrow
No such thing as tomorrow
Bravery you borrow
To make yourself hollow
In nothing you wallow
In nothing you wallow
In nothing you’ll wallow
In nothing you wallow

Everyone was so sad at my funeral
Asked questions like “Why did you leave?”
From below, the answers I’ll never know
Forever eternal they’ll grieve
