DELUSIONS

Thinking about her
Recurring thought I can’t stop
Delusional me

ENLIGHTENED

Eyes fixed on the news
Mind melting with disaster
Feel so enlightened

MOTOR OIL

Drinking motor oil
Straight to my brain and liver
Wake up with no mind

COOKIES

Another batch, please
Recipe for disaster
And for a good time

MINDLESS

Mindless drone awake
Repeated theme destroying
Friday night death bed

PAGES FILLING

Page filling with words
Empty and without message
Just repeated words

KNOW

Know what I must do
Can’t bring myself to do it
Because I am weak

BLURRED

Blurred vision clearing
Understanding ev’rything
Comprehend nothing

OXYGEN

Oxygen drifting
Carried away in the breeze
With the rest of me

ELEGANT WOMAN’S JAW-LINE

Saw her eyes briefly
Glimpse of them as they glimpsed me
Big disappointment

I’VE BEEN TO HELL – IT SUCKS

Good old John Curtain
We hire good bands to mock you
With shit atmosphere

A STADIUM FULL OF SCARECROWS

Bland haiku writer
Wrote a really bland haiku
And it was BORING

THE STORM (NOT THE MELBOURNE STORM… I HATE RUGBY… TURD.)

A storm is coming
One that will wash us away
And drown the children

MYRIAD OF MIRRORS

Welcome to my show
Melodramatic Corey
Thinking myself blind

POET’S LAMENT

I hate poetry
Write it because it is quick
Though unfulfilling

THE UNDENIABLE CHARM OF VENUS

What happened to us?
We used to have something good
Now we have nothing.

Tell Corey what you thought of these haikus in the guestbook.
