Forgotten Freedom.

Give me some more
Right now – I need it
I’ve got a hunger
You’ve got to feed it
Don’t tell me that
I have to beat it
‘Cause I got a hunger
Need you to feed it

No one knows the way things are
In my mind, in constant dark
If you’d go there you would see
Please go there before you leave

Open yourself up to me
Let me back inside

Withdrawals and my misery
Are my only company
In sleep I dream of ecstasy
Your warm soul lay next to me
I awake, alone and sweating
It’s me that you are forgetting
I’m sick and I need a feeding
In bed, I’m dead, yet still am breathing

No one knows the way things are
In my mind, in constant dark
If you’d go there you would see
Please go there before you leave

Open yourself up to me
Let me back inside

And now when my wrists are bleeding
Is when you start believing
Apologise to me for leaving
Words said to dead – and I’ve found freedom
