The fans in the arena are buzzing over what's gonna happen next. The huge Dallas crowd are anticipating the debut of one Stone Cold Steve Austin!
Suddenly "The Glass Breaks" and the one and only Texas Rattlesnake dressed in his 'Bullet Proof' t-shirt and jeans, stomps out to the cheers of the fans. Austin walks with a purpose to the ring, talkin' trash all the way. Austin enters the ring through the middle rope and salutes his fans at each turnbuckle. Austin then demands a mic and begins to rant... Tonight I have something to say (The fans chant WHAT between each sentence Austin says) Something important (WHAT) Something, quite frankly, I think the whole world is waiting to hear (WHAT) Three months ago (WHAT) three months ago (WHAT) three months ago! (WHAT) Stone Cold Steve Austin took his job with that OTHER orginisation (WHAT) and told them to shove it! (WHAT) All around the world (WHAT) right across the globe (WHAT) people were sayin' Stone Cold took his ball (WHAT) and went home! (WHAT) AH-AH! I don't think so (WHAT) That's not the way it was! (WHAT) You see, all along (WHAT) ol' Stone Cold had a plan (WHAT) And it was real simple (WHAT) Three months ago, Stone Cold Steve Austin decided the NWA was the place to be! (WHAT) So I did the only reasonable thing I could (WHAT) and I went ahead (WHAT) and signed a contract with the NWA (WHAT) And hear I am! (The fans cheer loudly after this last comment) So I was backstage earlier (WHAT) and I was thinkin to myself (WHAT) exactly what I was gonna say out here tonight (WHAT) And I figured the only logical thing to do (WHAT) would be to lay it all on the line (WHAT) straight up! (WHAT) Flat out! (WHAT) Basically what I'm tryin' to say (WHAT) is Stone Cold Steve Austin is issuing a challenge (WHAT) to any guy backstage (WHAT) who thinks he's got what it takes (WHAT) to go one on one (WHAT) with The Rattlesnake, to bring his lil' ass down to this ring on Slaughter (WHAT) look me in the eye (WHAT) and say 'Austin: I'm gonna whip your ass' (The fans let out a lil' boo at this, so Ausin responds) Oh don't worry! (WHAT) It ain't gonna happen! (WHAT) Why? What! Why? What! Why? What! Because every guy backstage knows my name is Stone Cold Steve Austin (WHAT) and when you mess with me (WHAT) you make the-single-biggest-mistake-of-your-life! (WHAT) And that's the bottom line.. What! that's the bottom line.. What! That's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold said so! Austin demands a couple cold ones and salutes the fans to a huge pop again, before leaving the ring and going backstage. |
