SABINE,

a.k.a. "Baby Bean," is a lady that we hold in the highest regards. At one time, her life was not something to be desired, however that has not stopped this woman from becoming a productive and wonderfully funny part of our rescue family life.

She is our queen of mischief. Once she learned how to communicate with humans, she hasn't quit. Sometimes it takes us a day or two to figure out what she is trying to say...but we always decipher it in the end and she doesn't seem to mind the wait. She loves attention and demands the spotlight. She is our adorable 5 lb. diva.

Sabine would be most comfortable in a 1 or 2 person adult home. She doesn't quite get the intricate bond between two bunnies but she certainly understands how to let two grown dogs know who is boss.

Free roam in a protected area of the home brings out the best in Sabine, although we recommend keeping her away from an open fridge door. If you don't want to cause a "baby bean" frenzy then don't shake the cheerios box within her sound range. She is a treat junkie so you will have to limit her alternate food intake even though she is really convincing.

If you think you have room for a spunky girl with big personality and a wonderful sense of humor, send us an email to obtain an application. Email us at rabbithaven123@aol.com

AFLAC

is a healthy, one-year-old Pekin drake. He came under his foster mom's care when he was dumped in her pond by a neighbor who tired of having a grown "Easter duckling."

Aflac loves to swim in his foster mom's pond and he is being worked with getting used to being held and cuddled. He has pretty blue eyes and great plumage.

Aflac must be locked up at night in a predator-proof shed or barn. He must eat high-quality duck pellets throughout the year.

Please contact his foster mom, Jessica at:
meyerzoo2@msn.com.

Meet Snowy and Chester!

Snowy is a gorgeous two-year-old female dwarf bunny. She is spayed and litterbox trained. She is very friendly and LOVES to be out of her cage.

Her "husbunn," Chester, is 1.5 years old. He is a handsome strawberry-colored neutered male bunny. He is shy and relies on Snowy for comfort.

Snowy and Chester are acquainted with barking dogs and are used to those sounds. They are a bonded pair and are very much in love and cannot be separated.

Please contact us for further information on Snowy and Chester or to request an adoption application.
