I don't know if there's any wardens, regional directors, or anybody in Tallahassee who gives a hoot what's going on in their prisons. All we can do is report it as loudly as possible and hope someone cares. Here's two guards (as opposed to officers) who are making life hell for an inmate. It's illegal, immoral, childish, and mean. Will they ever grow up? Will anyone stop them? Will another inmate die before the family has to file another lawsuit on the department? Kay Lee

I just got another letter from my husband. Here are his remarks in this letter recvd on 4-29-2005:"These people are trying to set me up. They changed my job. Ms Reed put me as confinement laundryman. One of the officers from the main unit is a sergeant back there, Sgt Santerfeilt. He was the one that gave me my last DR. Now they want me to work for him knowing he's gonna write me a bullshit DR. I guess they think I'm dumb or something.
I'm going to my boss lady tomorrow and ask her to take me out of there. I'm not going to work back there (period).
I don't care if they put me in the box, as long as Capt Touchton, Sgt Matthews, C/O Hester, C/O Dillion, Sgt Santerfeilt and Sgt Sexton can't come spray me. A couple of months ago they fucked "class A" up then shipped him, I'm not going out like that.
If they don't change my job in the morning, I'll know what kind of plan they got for me. so as soon as you get this letter check on me ain't no telling what they got planned. i just hope I don't end of catching new charges cause they look out for their own. I'm just another inmate/convict.
If anything happens to me, my cousin will write you. But in the meantime you need to call like I said and don't stop until this is taken care of. When you call you got to let them know what time it is, otherwise it's on.
You can't play with this. It's important you demand to hear my voice! If it comes down to it have the lawyer check on business hours here and Tallahassee cause right now they are trying to fuck me up anyway possible, I see it and I feel it. Best thing for you is to get me some life insurance and be ready to sue."These are the exact words from my husband's letter. The officers listed above are the most worrisome. He has been complaining about these same guards since he was at the main unit.
My husband stated he is in C/O Dillion's dorm and he has been complaining to be moved from that man's dorm. What caused these cruel guards to retaliate is when my husband filed a complaint against them. That is when they broke his arm and etc. He always seems scared of them, like when I go and visit, he never wants to stay until visiting hours are over. He always want to leave early. I have several letters where he is complaining about these same guards. He never stated who is the ringleader.
He was telling me that the water there is green, I was thinking, they make the prisoners drink that kind of water? He also stated that they have prisoners with diseases serving food.
I am worried half to death about my husband, and his mother is too! I don't know what the hell is going on but something needs to be done!
