Kaylee, You print all this bad stuff about how bad the CORRECTIONAL OFFICERs are, but what about the bad convicts, inmates or whatever you may call them? I realize that there may be in fact some innocent people in prison, but that is not for the DOC to decide, and there also maybe a very small percentage of bad CO's, but I finally realized recently,  I am proud of the people I work with, and the people I work for. Not every AMERICAN citizen is going to go to work at a prison and have human waste thrown at them, be yelled at, be gunned down........Or to be sitting in an Inspector's office for 2 hours because some Inmate claims that I raped him, I hardly think so.  All this on a daily basis.  For what? 30 thousand dollar's a year? Come on now, let's be realistic. Is it worth it  For once Kaylee, let's give it up to all of the hard working CORRECTIONAL OFFICER'S out there who work nights, evenings, days, weekends, holidays, 100 degree weather, freezing cold weather, pouring down rain, hurricane blowing,   But we are at work, keeping America safe.............

Good to meet you, Officer Golub.  You are absolutely right.  Many officers are professional and work very hard in potentially dangerous situations.  MTWT makes every effort to give credit and award Gold Stars to those doing this job by the book yet in a fair and humane manner.  Too bad the rogue guards are ruining the reputation of "Correctional" Officers everywhere.  They really do make your job more dangerous.

I appreciate you taking the time to present this to MTWT.  I hope you will always remember to deal with inmates 'by the book'. We are all on this side of the cell because we are supposed to be better than the common criminal.  You wear the uniform - You can be an example of the kind of person they should strive to be.

I have only one question. Is the inmate that accused you suffering any kind of retaliation? Kay Lee
