The site will be up and running full steam in about two months. I will be making available engines, gear boxes, turbos and evrything to make your ride go fast. Nothing will be sold without first being used and approved by me. It has been my experience that when building a car 20-40% of the money used went to unnecessary junk that we buy from bullshit artists who advertise in magazines. I have spent over 40K weaving thru all that bullshit and now you can save by going thru me at streetlegal.com the site will be for members only at a minimal cost and if you don’t understand the importance then you have never built a car. Ill give you an e.g. When I had my rotary I went to the dyno with an Isuzu intercooler made 485hp to the wheel @ 25psi turned it up to 30 psi and only made 12 more hp the 'wisard' who was with me told me to upgrade my intercooler cause it was causing a restriction. After $1100 we went back to the dyno what do you know I made 490hp at 25psi and 505 at 30psi so my time and $1100 was a complete waste. Would it not have been great to just at the first turn of the wrench do it right! There is one constant that I have found in the import scene evreryone talks very few acts, as to those racing shops hahahaha is all I can say. This is the secret none will tell you. Gut a car to 1800lbs, put in a 5-600hp engine, add slicks, paint it pretty, go to the track break it a couple of engines then run couple of good times tell people of the good times (probably a 10) and they are now the experts. You get suckered in spend your money and next you know you are parting out your car piece by piece frustrated like hell if this has not happened to you then you must know of someone who did. Those 'drag cars' come alive maybe twice a month at best, do you want a drag car or do you want a fast street legal car? One that starts every time runs without overheating and performs like a f***ing car is suppose to. I ended up making my 534hp with my rotary it ran like it had 6-650hp and I use to beat on it every weekend for over two years without breaking an engine I had two failed bearings but never never never broke my engine for the last two years of having it. Why I say this? to tell you this...over the two year period I racked up over 300runs including 90 dyno runs I was the only rotary out there running the streets looking for victims, at the pace of most race shops it would take them about 4-5 years on the same engine running consistent times and running without much adjustments. You show me a shop like that and I would tell you go for it. I intend to bring you my experience and I will admit it is limited to just a few brands but be on the lookout for the "jacks of all trades". This is my motto; "Knowledge costs how much you want to waste?" Damn I got off the subject at hand my 240 skyline is done and will run as long as you are honest to it i.e.; don’t overrev engine use C16 for high boost don’t mess with the program and listen to her purr engine I have done has a personality get to know it before you push her listen keenly up in the rpms. I swear I have driven my car to the streets push it hard and the feedback wasn’t right nothing big but you just get that feeling from your baby to give me break tonight and what do I do I chill. It could have been the temp, the humidity, the gas mixture or just the balancing of the tires, but you must know when your car is good. Good luck you all will hear from me soon.
