State Discrimination Against International Medical Graduates

We are a group of foreign medical students and graduates who are trying to organize a class action law suite against the state medical licensing board of California. As you may already know the state of California requires foreign medical school graduates to be from medical schools inspected and approved directly by the California State Medical Licensing Board before they can get licensed also students of non-approved schools cannot do clinical rotations and qualified graduates cannot do residency in California without approval of the medical school, however, many FMG’S are already licensed in California from medical schools which have never been inspected nor approved.

Therefore our intention is to file a class action law suite in a federal court. The reason for this website is to create a medium of communication among Foreign Medical Graduates and students who would like to be part of this lawsuit and/or add pertinent information or support to the case. If you know of any other cases (lawsuites made against the Medical Board of California) and/or can point us to any pertinent information that could be of service please inform us via the contact form at the bottom of this page.
Thank you for visiting our website. Please come back and visit again as we will be updating this website as more information becomes available.
