Namibia

Namibia is named after the oldest desert in the world that extends almost the entire length of its South Atlantic coastline. There are 20 National Parks and protected areas. The safari accommodation is not as sophisticated as elsewhere in Southern Africa but there is an abundance of comfortable accommodation options ranging from rest camps, country guest farms and a few safari lodges.
The best game viewing is generally between May and October. As you can see from the pictures the scenery is magic, and would be a photographer's delight. This quiet serene country is virtually undiscovered by the western travelling public but the wildlife and beautiful scenery is something you will never forget.
