ABOUT SIVARO

Hi my name is Nancy from the country town Ballarat Victoria. My town is noted for there GoldFields and Cold Weather. Sivaro Poodles was established 1971,  starting with my mother Sietske (Siska) when she first purchased a  white and silver dog.  She later started showing and then breeding.  She studied books on breeding, confirmation, genes and genetics where she become quite knowledgable on the poodle.  She made many friends in the show circuit, all helping with confirmation and trimming.  Some years later she purchased a bitch Jeunesse Marsha (silver) which become her foundation bitch.  She was a daughter of Jalahalli Frenches Silver Bubbles (Imp U.K.).  She produced many Champions including Sivaro Silver Saxon son of Crysilva Saxon (Imp U.K.)  Later she bought her full sister Jeunesse Silva Beige (white) another top producer of Champions.  My mum was then known as The name in Silver & White Miniature Poodles.  She died in 1997.

My mother was my Mentor & Tutor and her knowledge of the miniature poodle was passed on to me.  I then took over the name Sivaro in Memory of my mother, only I had found myself drawn to the blacks and felt I had more to go on with.  I knew what I wanted in a show dog, and it was a must to have quality, type and temperament.  I found what I was looking for in W.A, and got a bonus by getting exquisite heads and balanced movement.  These youngsters are truly pleasing to the eye and are making their mark in the ring.  My eldest daughter has now chosen Toy Poodles of excellent quality to show & breed with, so we will become 3rd generation of Poodle Breeders.
