The Coromandel Peninsula is well worth getting out to...as you can see. The Castle is worth climbing, too.
A rich agricultural zone, known for it's progressive attitudes. Very cool place.
Hope you don't have a trailer. This is one of the windiest, narrowest paved roads I've ever been on. Even the locals remark on it.
