Objectives

Spiritual: To lead students to personally know Creator God and understand and worship Him through a functional faith, which is developed through prayer and study of Scripture, nature and the Spirit of Prophecy. To help students develop an understanding and acceptance of God’s overall plan and discover how Seventh-day Adventist beliefs support that plan. To help them recognize that development of a strong Christian character is not only the foundation of happiness on this planet, but essential for
eternity.

Mental: To help students develop their intellect to the highest possible level and provide a strong scholastic foundation for continued learning. To nurture in each student a strong intellectual curiosity which stimulates lifelong learning. Physical: To teach students in the classroom through co-curricular activities, and by example to treasure and constantly improve their health.

Social: To aid students in the development of appropriate social skills which will enable them to relate effectively to their family and others. To awaken an understanding that no matter what their background or race, they will learn to value individual differences in a multi-cultural setting and relate in a responsible, caring, respectful manner. To help students recognize that self-worth underlies the ability to treat others with dignity.

Vocational: To teach students the dignity of labor, help them acquire work skills, and identify their personal strengths as they explore career choices.

Civic: To awaken in students civic interest and responsibility as citizens of the world in a framework of Christian concern.

Global: To challenge students to embrace a global mission to fulfill the commission of Jesus Christ. To prepare them to share the gospel in the corner of the world in which they live.
