We would like to take time to introduce you to some of our fabulous broodmares both past and present. It is the offspring and grand-offspring of these wondeerful mares that currently carry on our breeding program.

We lost this beloved and most blessed of broodmares after the birth of her last foal 'RSV Spirit' due to foaling related complications. Her loss was devastating to us. Not only was she our all-time top producing broodmare but she was one of the, if not 'the' top producing Peruvian Mare of all-time in the U.S. 100% of her offspring shown are CHAMPIONS! 100% of her offspring shown under saddle are CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS! This extraordinary mare was herself a two-time U.S. National Champion of Champions!

RDS Orquidia Negra is the dam of the all-time highest pointed AAOBPPH Breeding Division Stallion in the U.S., the 3-time U.S. National Champion of Champions & LAUREADO, 'RSV Inolvidable+'. She is also the dam of Champion of Champions, 'RSV Finura', 'RSV Ascencion', Champions 'RSV Inconquistable' & 'RSV Superior'. Besides these outstanding show proven individuals we have three of her offspring here on the ranch that are as of yet unshown but show every bit the promise if not more than their Champion siblings, 'RSV Solimar' & 'RSV Soliluna' the famous twin fillies, and 'RSV Spirit' her final offspring by the great Soberano CM!

RSV Finura is a wonderfully gaited, strong and sweet tempered mare. She was the first daughter of RDS Orquidia Negra and is many times a Champion of Champions Breeding Mare! This incredible mare is already proving herself a producer of great foals. Her first son born, 'RSV Noble Sol' is already a Champion Junior Stallion. Her second son, RSV Predator is as of yet unshown but we have such high thoughts of him we are retaining him as a future herd sire! Finura is in foal for 2005 to 'RDS Filon de Oro' (*CEC Rey De Reyes -x- RDS Lluvia De Oro). This foal may be purchased en-utero with a 'Live Foal Guarantee'

RSV Solimar is the oldest of the famous Rancho Santa Vicenta twin fillies. She is 3 minutes older than her twin sister RSV Soliluna. Although a twin, this filly is a normal sized Peruvian mare and has wonderful conformation and gait. She is one of the last daughters of the legendary broodmare, RDS Orquidia Negra and is blessed with the same extraordinary gait. This mare is well started under saddle and is smooth as glass. Her disposition is sweet and loving and she loves to go. She is a potential show mare of the highest calibre! She is bred to RDS Filon de Oro SEE HIM HERE!

RSV Soliluna is the younger of the Rancho Santa Vicenta twin fillies (By 3 minutes). When she was born she weighed less than 40 pounds. The vets gave her a 0% chance of survival. But she proved them all wrong and now at five years of age is a normal sized Peruvian mare with wonderful gait and conformation! She will make a fabulous show mare and is well started under saddle. She is bred to RDS Filon de Oro SEE HIM HERE!

Sahara was one of my all-time favorite riding mares. She was a small mare with the greatest of hearts! Many times herself a Champion of Champions, she also produced several Champion of Champions offspring! One of her daughters 'RSV La Pisquera' is still owned by the ranch and is herself a U.S. National Champion of Champions. We lost Sahara to Cushings disease. She produced 10 exceptional foals in her time here on earth. She was without a doubt the most 'beautiful' Peruvian mare I had ever seen.

RSV La Pisquera

Dam: Sahara MSR (Florentino MSR -x- *Perfidia)

RSV La Pisquera is one of our 'Never for Sale' mares. She is a two-time U.S. National Champion as well as a National Champion of Champions. She has produced exceptional foals for us and has carried junior riders to National High-Point awards. She is super smooth and a great addition to our breeding program. She is the one remaining offspring we have from Sahara MSR. RSV La Pisquera has a daughter for sale that may be seen on our Horses For Sale page.

This wonderfully gaited mare is 100% Risso breeding and has proven to be a great producing mare. She is a large mare with good bone and wonderfully smooth gait. She is the dam of champion offspring and would make a great addition to anyone's breeding program. She is only green broke to ride but is sound and has a sweet temperament.
