All items are handknit by Ruth and finished off by Emma (I sew things up embroider them and tuck all the ends in etc)
It's not just hats, scarves and jumpers (sweaters) either. There are gorgeous toys, baby clothes and booties, cotton tops etc. But there are hats and scarves and shawls and arm warmers available too for the cold times. Other products can be seen at Ruth's Flickr If you have an idea you want to discuss or a certain pattern you want knitted then just contact Ruth. The knitting is in no way limited to the items photographed. Bears come in acrylic, cotton and rainbow multi-coloured cotton. The acrylic bears are stuffed with polyfill and the cotton bears are all natural materials and stuffed with cotton. These are all low allergy materials. They can also be made with wool, organic wool or organic cotton but would cost a bit more.

* Acrylic $12.50 (pretty much any colour)
* Cotton $15 (8ply colours and 4ply colours 4ply bears will be smaller)
* Rainbow/white Multi-Coloured Cotton $18 (incredibly soft)
Woven Ball acrylic $10 Easy to wash. Has a space in the middle of the ball that you can leave empty or fill with a small rattle or jingle ball. It wont come with these but you can easily put it in yourself. Just make sure it's age appropriate as they can be choking hazards. Can be made from wool or cotton but the price would go up.
Rainbow Star acrylic $35 Easy to wash. Great for kids to grab hold of. Filled with pollyfill
Rainbow Ball acrylic $35 Fun to play with but soft so it doesn't hurt Filled with polyfill
Converse baby booties $10 a pair So cute. Soy, cotton and bamboo blends.

Things that I will need to know:
* Colour, texture and size preferences/requirements. I may need you to measure yourself (or the recipient, if not yourself) for items like hats.
* Allergies. If you are allergic to dyes, or to wool, or any other fibre, I need to know in advance so that I can use alternate, hypoallergenic yarn. If I make a project without knowing this, I may accidentally produce an item you cannot use.
Things that you will need to be aware of:
* Time. All of my items are handmade. This means that they take time to make and perfect to the point that I am happy with them. Also, since they will be posted from Australia, they may take some time to get to you. For example, for air mail, two weeks between Australia and the USA is average.
* Money. Postage, in particular, international postage, costs money. I am happy to negotiate whatever postage method you prefer, but I cannot afford to cover the price of postage myself.
* Payment. Paypal, since it's easiest for most people. If you'd rather another method, let me know and we can work something out.
