ROYAL AUSTRALIAN REGIMENT PLAQUE
General Information
The Royal Australian Regiment plaque was commissioned in August 2003. It is available for general sale and orders will be taken however from time to time this item may be in stock. We will advise if stock is available.
The Technical Details
Each plaque is hand made without the use of any powered machinery with up to three craftsmen being involved in the manufacturing process. It is carved from a single piece of timber known by its common species name of ‘walnut’. The plaque measures approximately 20 cms x 27 cms with a weight of approximately 600 grams.
The plaque is able to be personalised if required with the addition of numerous banners denoting service and other inscriptions. Any inscription can be applied as long as the inscription is proportional to the width and depth of the plaque. Please note however that the plaque may increase in size to accommodate personal inscriptions.
We will use the space beneath the badge on this shaped shield to insert smaller inscriptions so if you are able to keep the inscription within that space any increase in price will be marginal.
If however you require numerous inscriptions then we recommend that you consider ordering one of our personalised plaques, which although the cost is at our next level of pricing, you will still receive an exceptional plaque but with the addition of all of your personal inscriptions, and the plaque will be approximately 33% larger than our standard sized plaque.
