26things...

give or take

26 Things is an international photographic scavenger hunt designed to make us look a little closer to the world around us. A list of items to be sought and captured, digital or otherwise, was posted. The only rules- the pictures had to be taken in the month of July and nothing naughty can be posted.

First off, I have to admit that it's been a while since I've used a camera outside of the "say cheese" mode. Add to it that the camera I've been using some new-fangled contraption that I've had for a year but never really bothered to learn how it works, and you have the flailing of arms and occasional 4-letter words said. But this was a great assignment- it got me looking again. So, here are my offerings. 22 in total. Four had to be scrapped due to the fact that they were just plain awful and I ran out of time to reshoot.

Big, huge, gigantic thanks to my personal web diva, Malia. Please visit her site and give her the kudos she deserves- buy some stuff!

Drop me a line, tell me what you think.
