Exciting news! I have finally gotten around to updating this website! It's been a bit tricky finding enough time to do it at the Internet cafes. Click on the 'Monthly Letter' link to read my October update.
As many of you know, I will be travelling to the Philippines from August this year to January next year (2004). This is for my uni degree which is a bachelor of International Social Development. Once I’ve finished this overseas placement I will be a fully fledged university graduate – who would’ve thought! The organisation I will be working with is OMF International (Overseas Missionary Fellowship). It is a fantastic organisation that sends missionaries and professionals to serve in South East Asia. I have been working for them for about 11 months now.
I created this site to give you all a bit of info about where I’ll be and to keep you updated with what’s going on. Down the bottom of this page are some links, the first will take you to a page of mine that will fill you in about the area I’ll be working in (Welfareville, Manila). The second will take you to my monthly letter/prayer points and the third will take you to OMF International.
