Off we go again.

Just north of Bowen, I take photos of this toilet block every trip. NOMANGOES / MANGOES

(Bowen is famous for its mangos!!)

Picnic in one of the Queensland rest areas.

We met up with some friends at King Reef. We liked it so much we stayed two nights.

This is the closed part of the mainland to the Great Barrier Reef, and if the tide is right you can walk out to the reef.

Paronella Park at Mena Falls is a magical place, and well worth the visit.

      

    

Then back to Airlie Beach.

We did some 'dirt track driving' around Emu Park, near Rockhampton, and found some lovely little crafty places.

This one specialised in wood.

    

Emu Park - it rained a lot, but it didn't spoil the holiday. We stayed three days.

The whole trip took two weeks.
