Nature Spirit Community Drug Policy

State and federal stautes prevent the possession, other than by prescription, the sale and/or distribution of Class 2 Narcotics. All Nature Spirit Community members and their gyuests present at NSC sponsored functions, held at any public or private facility (i.e. meeting areas, parks, private homes, etc.), are subject to a NO TOLERANCE drug and alcohol policy. This policy is in regard to the possession, sale, use, and/or distribution of any substance deemed illegal by state or federal laws. Further, any use of alcohol or tobacco by minors is also included in the NO TOLERANCE POLICY.

This NO TOLERANCE POLICY also pertains to the possession of any firearms (excluding on duty law enforcement), licensed or otherwise, by and Nature Spirit Community member or guest at any NSC sponsored function whether held at a public facility or private home.

Any Nature Spirit Community member or guest caught or found in possession of such substances or firearms at a NSC sponsored function, whether it be at a private home or public facility, will by their own willful actions in violation of this NO TOLERANCE POLICY, have terminated their membership and/or forfeited any possibility of membership in the future in the organization known as Nature Spirit Community.

Such persons will be forever prohibited from participating and ANY NSC sponsored events, whether held at public or private facilities. There are no exceptions to this policy other than of those persons possessing a current prescription for the use of medications as described by their physician. Persons violating this policy will be addressed, along with any evidence and/or witnesses, in the manner set forth by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
