Pros
- Small and light-wieght
- Solid Lifter Head as opposed to hydraulic head on newer cars
- Quick gear ratios which are great for slaloming
- The "fun factor" is way higher in a Rabbit opposed to a newer GTI
Cons
- Rabbits may be a little too cramped for some people
- It is harder to find parts for Rabbits than it is to find them for newer GTI's
- The gear ratios are not suited for long drives
- The cars are getting older and harder to find in decent condition
