What ever happen to “The customer is always right” or at this point, is service with a smile extinct?  I suppose that the main reason that we as consumers no longer matter to certain companies is convenience.  It is the opinion of at least this consumer that the majority of these companies, strongly feel or believe that they are the only “game” in-town.  Which is probably the main reason that in today’s business world customer service is like a dinosaur, EXTINCT!!!! 

Now granted several companies do try stress customer service to their employees but unfortunately that is as far as it goes.  Mainly because as employees get promoted as lose the contact with the companies customer base, their focus changes from the customers needs to the companies need.   So why bother to write this?
