Governor Lachlan Macquarie |
Governor Lachlan Macquarie was a scottish general who became one of Australia's best governors. He was responisble for allowing ticket-of-leave extentions for convicts, and fought in Egypt against the French Napolean. However most importantly, he is the one who developed much of Sydney's infrastructure. |
