Hope dies last- Let's Keep it Great!!

A Tribute The Great Barrier Reef is under extreme pressure due to human influence. As it was our mistakes to the rapid decline in species' population, we need to redeem ourselves!
Many organisations are trying to save what is left of this world-heritage listed marine park, but to no prevail. Rare species, such as the green turtle, dugongs, whales and dolphins- are all suffering.
Humans are ruining this beautiful ecosystem through pollution, unsustainable fishing and coastal development. The problems lie here, but the main problem is a large portion of the Australian and Queensland economy relies heavily on tourism, particularly that which evolves around the Great Barrier Reef.
It is my wish, and many others, that something is done. I leave this page as a tribute to the Great Barrier Reef.
