Haptic Media is an independant small business.
The company is still trying to get on its feet, but its current major project - the SYN fm Aussie music show - is an important step in establishing Haptic Media as a base point for up-coming musicians looking for a break into the industry.

Haptic Media was initiated to offer musicians a personal and online communication system to support the aussie music industry both nationally and internationally.
While all the services are not available at the moment, I am working very hard to get everything up and running for you.
Haptic Media will include information for musos and punters alike with contacts to various independent record labels, recording studios, O/S contacts, Gig and Venue guides, news on bands who have used Haptic Media services (including current news, band photos [live/promo/general], bios etc...) and once funding has been gathered, the website will also include forums/chat-style pages where visitors discuss the aussie music industry.
MP3's (with permission) will also be available to give punters a taste of what's on the scene.
The design services are for musos who need photography or design to improve or increase their public profile, document gigs/tours/festivals etc or just need cover art/album artwork or design.
I will also be offering a consultancy servive that puts you in touch with the right people for getting your music in the ears of global citizens.

Soon to be recording their album, Kinematic have had fantastic reviews from the Indie Initiative's Neil Wedd, who submitted an awesome review to InPress magazine. They don't have any gigs lined up as yet, but I will keep you posted...They will most likely be appearing at the 9th Ward, The Espy - keep your fingers crossed for a front bar cd launch - rumoured to be supporting Klinger, and at Bar 303 in High Street Northcote.
Mushroom Giant
Mushroom Giant have had no luck with singer Dave Gogerly, who has deserted MG. They now return to their original three piece line up and are in search of a new singer. Mushroom Giant's debut album Rails is available from their website (see below).
Great Southern Electrics
[GSE] have been working hard recording their EP for release in late November. Keep your eyes peeled for live gigs, and visit their site for updates. Alternatively, join Haptic Media's mailing list to recieve updates of gigs, venues and band news. Just email a request - it's free, and I won't be spamming you or selling your email address to anyone.
Haptic Media applied for a grant recently, but unfortunately I did not succeed. Boo Hoo!!! If you have any suggestions or can offer any assistance in collecting support for Haptic Media please contact me via the mail link below and I can forward you information on what would be useful. Ultimately word of mouth and new clients will help immensely, so if you need any photogaphy for your band or know someone that does, or if you would like to know what help Haptic can be to you PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!!
